I do think people don't give Kelly enough credit in greatest lists.. he was the greatest QB in the USFL's history, took the Bills to 4 SBs and was incredible there. He retired young.

    that you know of.

SF cheated and it benefitted Joe.

I am not here to knock Joe, he's worthy of the top spot but it's silly to knock Brady over something like this.

why was he the greatest QB in USFL history?

Kelly is a worthy HOFer, he's not in any to 5-10 all time discussion.

For my money, the best pure QB I've ever seen.

One SB win and he'd be in the discussion.

    Unfortunately he never got it.

No he wouldn't be in the discussion w/ 1 SB win.
edit** I thought you were talking bout Kelly.

Marino would be in the discussion if not considered the best w/ 1 SB win. we finally agree.

Yeah I love to joke about the B.I.L.L.S (Boy I Love Losing Superbowls), but 4 trips in a row? That's right below the Squeelers 4 in 6

Poor Junc.... it must be horrible seeing everything you love crushing in front of your eyes....

    Sanchez ... gone
Sanchez doing ok in Philli ... season ending INT
Rex is the man ... gone
Philli is getting injury-prone Bradford ... Tebow is back
Brady is the greatest QB of all times ... cheated, all accomplishments tainted

gotta feel sorry for the pain

I repeat, JOE MONTANA did not cheat. He didn't work with those ball boys or put stick-ems on his hands or oil all over his jersey for a competitive advantage. Whatever the team did was null / voided does not matter in this discussion. Joe did not break the rules to give HIMSELF a competitive advantage. In a league where the rules were exposed by every team.

I feel bad for you Junc. Thinking Fraud Tom Brady* is better than Montana.

please, you've been owned on a number of occasions. Your overconfidence blinds you. Don't hang em up, because I am sure you will be owned tons more in the future.

I say he's the greatest QB in USFL history because he was. USFL MVP.. all time leader in touchdown passes, all time leader in QB rating. 4th in yards despite playing 1 less season than the guys in front of him or he'd be the all time leader in yards as well

you want to name a more successful USFL QB? seems like you'd be tired of being wrong about QBs time after time

Nope. Compared to the team around him, he was Dilfer. Flame away.

He certainly had a TON of talent on both sides of the ball. But he won a few more titles than Dilfer.

I'd have to agree, he was the ultimate QB, no weakness - there is no franchise I hate more then the Dolphins, but I respected the hell out of that fucker.

Dolphins thought he would carry them to a SB, if he had more support a better defense / running game who knows what would have happened.

    Thank God it never did.

it's not unfortunate that Marino never got that SB win. Fuck him and fuck the dolphins. He was great but fuck him I'm glad they never won the SB

Junc, Do you remember the AFC Championship game against the Colts where Sanchez got obliterated by a DE when he didn't even have the football..? I know that's not much detail, but you have a pretty good football memory.

Would it be fair to suggest that Brady would have gotten the flag on that play?

To me, it always seemed like Brady got those kinds of roughing calls... and Pass Interference.
