I have really no problem putting Brady in the top 5. I'm not including him because I dislike him. But here is my top 5: Unitas, Marino, Peyton Manning, Montana, Favre.

he's close but not quite Brady and why do we take away from Brady and not Montana when SF cheated in those days too?

See i had it Tier1: Montana, Manning, Brady, Tier2: Elway, Marino, Unitas, Favre and possibly soon Brees. With another cheating scandal on the books Brady drops to tier 2. *underlined are my overall top 5*

Montana didn't cheat. He's 10x the QB Brady is and far more clutch and dependable.

Montana don't need no stinking kicker to win a SB. He didn't deflate balls either. Your hero, Tom Brady* is a fraud.

It was a hypothetical that you choose not to answer because you know that if it WERE true it would be one HELL of a big deal.

But I can't see Brady being stripped of SB rings.

I just enjoy pointing out how asinine the mention of this serial cheater as the GOAT is.

Tom Brady is in the same category as Sammy Sosa. A great list of achievements, but a pariah because he cheated his way to those accomplishments. We can argue about the advantage gained from his cheating, but it is cheating regardless and in my eyes, he sold his soul to get where he is and everything he has done is forever tarnished and cheapened.

In terms of Qb accomplishments: Brady is a contender for top 5. You can make a case for any of those guys plus others and old timers, too like Otto Graham. Deflategate (to me) doesn't knock Brady out of contention or lower his status. It's not like guys in baseball on steroids although you could make a case for it. I just don't think it's that big a deal. And affected games any more than other types of cheating which are commonplace. There's a lot of cheatin' going on.

    Montana NEVER cheated.

    Jerry Rice is not Montana.

Besides, most clueless fans think Montana won 4 SBs because of Jerry Rice.

Joe Montana won 1 Superbowl MVP when Jerry Rice was in high school and won 1 Superbowl MVP when Jerry Rice was in college.

Stop with the Montana cheated nonsense, it's a laughable attempt to dump on the Greatest QB in NFL History to prop up the greatest Cheating QB in NFL History.

I will agree with anything bad you have to say about Brady, Belichick, Kraft and the entire NEP operation. Why should I defend them!

It truly is sad, how delusional Junc has become on this board over the past couple of months. I don't even think you can put Brady in the top 3 of all-time QBs. Montana, P. Manning, Unitas, Graham - they deserve to be higher then that fraud Brady.

Notice how silent junc is today, I am sure he will be back when things cool down to try and tout his Brady best of all time theme.

Yeah as long as we don't include team accomplishments [Marino did well, had an awful team around him - but no ring at the end of the day]. I would have to agree with that as well - Marino a far better QUARTERBACK then Brady.

He's been destroyed in a decent# of arguments and he typically stops responding / runs away. Then comes back much later and pulls the SAME argument that was dispelled days prior.

I've seen it w/ Sanchez numerous times.

What happened to all of these Patriots dweebs who wanted bona fide proof their dishonest franchise wasn't cheatin'. Or are they still saying as Kraft is "still not enough." Even after a ridiculous 3 month investigation.

Loved Scrambling Fran when I was a kid.

My older brother always got to be Namath when we played sideyard football so I had to be someone else, so I was always Tark. Plus I was smaller and faster than my brother so it made sense.
