I have never found one Bang cartoon to be funny.

I find them to be the opposite of funny.

    Forced, contrived, stupid.

When he was with KC....he looked at a guy running down the right sideline....

then looked left to draw the safety...and without ever looking back threw a 40 yard TD strike to the WR

    effing incredible

still #1 for me. He doesn't get knocked down anymore than Joe does for his WRs using stick um or his HC playing w/ the headsets.

Sorry man... this is ding #2 on his "legacy" you can talk about Rice using stick em and Walsh playing with headsets in maybe 1 game. The Patriots have displayed a repeated pattern of ignoring rules and breaking them to gain a competitive advantage. As far as we know Montana never told Rice to use stick em, we know Brady instructed the ball boys (and even bribed them with memorabilia) to give him the advantage.

You are a knowledgeable fan but you don't know more than the NFL people who are in the business, the people who set the rules, the people who understand the specific reasons a ball is set at a certain PSI and not a different one. Hell I don't know that either but there are reasons these are the rules and it goes deeper than a little gamesmanship. It's a blatant disregard for the rules.

it's completely overblown. again, some QBs like overinflated balls, some under. it's not a big deal either way. they wound up coming back from 10 down in the 4th qtr against an all time great D to win the SB w/ balls that were being watched to make sure they weren't deflated. this is such a non issue.

The Pats have always tried to gain a competitive advantage by bending rules- what team doesn't?

I don't think it calls into question his ability, really, but definitely his character. The issue for me is that we know of these cheats but what cheats do we not know of? I don't think it removes him from the equation but there should definitely be a large asterisk besides his name...which is satisfying enough to me.

Mods-time to change the title of this thread.

Was never number 1, and can never be considered number 1 ever again.

The only guys that think he's number 1 are pathetic Chowd fans or clueless folks who believe Barry Bonds is the Home Run King.

The fact that he lied and said he had no idea about any of this has now proven what a massive fraud he is.

    Piece of shit.
