Krafts statement pretty much ensures they are going to get hammered. I think punishment will be similar to sypgate. I'm guessing Pats lose a draft pick (1st rounder?) plus a fine ($3 mil?) Brady gets 2 games and they stay off Bellichick.
I don't think its going to be anywhere near that harsh. But I agree, Kraft coming out swinging like he did really makes it hard for the league to let it go lightly. Hard to understand what he thought he was accomplishing. Do erectile dysfunction meds make old guys unnecessarily aggressive or something?
They should get hit hard for being a continual offender of breaking the rules. I obviously hate the Patriots but they deserve a harsh punishment.

It is Goodell's beloved Pats. Nothing will happen to Brady due to Union and Bellichick will not be punished because there isn't much in the report that they can use to punish him. Though I believe Bellichick is the mastermind behind all this, he will go unpunished. Pats will lose a draft pick and pay a fine and it will be done with. In Italy Juventus(3 time back to back champions) was relegated from Seria A(Prime league) to Seria B(Secondary league) and lost the cahmpionship they won and had to return the trophy. AC Milan started the league with negative 15 points next year. In France, Marseille was relegated for arranging he referees and they were stripped their championships. In Scotland Glasgow Rangers was relegated due to Financial issues. Fair punishment should be for the Pats to return the Lombardi Trophy back and Bellichick suspended for a year and Brady suspended for a year but it won't happen. Sad but true. I would say Only in America but unfortunately FIFA is as corrupt as NFL management.
I don't think the deflategate in itself is a big deal but I think they might get a bigger punishment than deserved as a payback for what they did against the Ravens. What the Pats did against the Ravens was far worse using an exploit to get around the intent of the substitutions rule which gained them a significant competitive advantage.
The Patriots organization will be contracted. Instead of the Chargers moving to LA the NFL will just start a new franchise there.
My guess is fined 100k and they move on. It should be 200k plus loose a first round pick. I want Brady suspended
