Because the same dumb mistakes are being made over and over. I pray the game slows down for him, but I didn't see much progression from yr 1 to yr 2.

This is my new favorite post in history.

In general, people arent different. Situations are different.

As a NY'er I've noticed that the alleged "negative" fan bases are the Jets/Mets/Knicks while the Yankees/Giants are the classy upbeat fan bases. Notice a trend separating those two groups? Both teams have won championships.

I'm a Jet fan and a Yankee fan. What does that make me? Am I a bad fan or a classy fan?

If the Jets/Knicks/Mets had 27 Championships to their name, their respective fan bases would be viewed in a much different eye.

Basically, the way I look at it every fanbase has their mega passionate asshole fans. The difference is sheer volume of fans, and the teams situation. The Jets have a ton of fans, so in turn they have more douchebags.

Imo those are two different things. I too need to see stark improvement. He improved from year one to year two. But it was so minimal that it felt like he didn't improve at all.

Yeah, I see it as the same thing to be honest. You have to show that improvement on the field. I don't think his decision making got THAT much better.

    We will see though.

I thought he was improved between the 20's. With all the talent the Jets added, I really think Geno will be able to move the ball around the field.

But you cant just play for FG's. When the field gets smaller, Geno needs to play better and safer.

If he cant do that, he cant start. Simple as that.

One possibility is that inside the 20 he does not threaten opponents with arm strength and even his running is a lesser threat. His run ypc is down anyway, so I think opponents have generally learned how to diminish that threat. But I also think he presses more and makes even worse decisions on average than usual.

I love being a Jets/Yankees fan. If people try to call me a frontrunner, I can say "I'm a diehard Jets fan, fuck you." If people try to tell me my teams suck I can throw the 27 rings at them.

It's the best of both worlds (how bout this hot streak for NYY)

Fitz gives this team, this roster a MUCH better shot at making the playoffs than Geno.

He hasn't thrown more INTs than TDs in the last 5 seasons, if he can maintain that, which he's shown he can do with Gailey, you give him the ball and let him manage the offense.

Fitz isn't great, but he can manage the game for a year.

    Geno cannot manage games.

Umm the second one was ruled a forward pass so that was not a bad play. I think
Complete fucking bullshit opinion stated as fact. Fitz is a turnover machine himself, and NO ONE knows yet how Geno will be under Gailey. What is indisputable is Geno's upside is dramatically higher so lets see what he does in TC and then make a more educated assessment.

One note johnny did I hurt your feelings because what you've just stated is complete fucking bullshit opinion stated as fact.

I love the complete bullshit qualifiers "indisputable" and "dramatically". They don't further your opinion.

Ok,if it makes you feel good keep telling yourself that.Did you see his knee simultaneously touch the ground in the end zone while making that " forward pass"?
This dumb shit can't be taught, you're born with it.
