The Bills GM used their first pick to force another cornerback on him. That's 3 initial picks in 6 years spend on cornerbacks. The guy can't catch a break.
Yeah but the 3 cornerbacks that were drafted while he was here remain on the team. None of which developed into consistent starters. So while he's gone, the legacy of his "defensive genius" remains. /bitter
And those picks of his SUCK and never seem to stay on the field,, This is my last season for Dee either he makes it to the field and stays heathly or THANKS REX 9th pick in 1st rd BUST
I think Mo,Richardson,Snacks was some damn good pick for Rex. If your going to pick out the bad make sure u pick out the good ones.
Sure Rex made some good picks ... That is expected when u dedicate so many to one side of the ball. Sheer volume. Snacks was a udfa and that was all rex there. The issue was and always will be the neglect of the offense when it comes to rex. If he showed a little more toward the offense he'd prob still be here and this convo would be different. Which is why I think Rex has a shot in buffalo. That offense has got plenty of talent on offense to overcome his deficiencies. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think it so funny that people say Rex made these picks. If he did why did we need a GM? People on here who think they are so smart when it comes to football are really dumb.
All HCs have strong input into a team's drafting. They interview and work out players, talk to coaches, etc. And then tell the GM which player best fits into their scheme, etc. btw did you see that Buffalo drafted a Clemson Lb in the 6th round. Was this again Rex's designated pick. Another Clemson player (just because his son plays there). Give me a break!
I would say if he said that (and I don't think he did) that he's lying. All evidence during the drafts was that the coaching staff was totally involved. And the selections like for example Pryor seemed to be Rex style picks. No Gm and that includes Idzik doesn't work with his coaching staff. But as we all know Rex likes to dish out the blame (via the press) without pointing fingers directly. He knows how to get his message through to the public. PS the Tajh Boyd pick last year was Rex's designated pick.
