Your statement was clear. I wondered if he actually ever saw the guy throw from up close.

Everybody on the planet knows Simms has a cannon anyway.

Sit him out this year and let him learn the offense. Handle this the right way for once.

Awesome. I'm not a fan of Geno but to be fair I saw some video of him back in Miramar, Florida. Very nice young man but a not so good QB.

Not smart. If you throw Petty out there this season, you'll guarantee that the answer will be "no." Petty has 3x more to work on that Mariota. He definitely will need to sit for at least one year, and possibly two.

Burleson just called Petty the hidden gem of the draft.

He's also talking about him maybe starting this season which would be a disaster

He runs a spread offense and he isn't great at that, if he were to start he would make Geno look like Elway.

In a perfect world Geno starts this year and lights it up in the spread offense with an improved supporting cast and Petty never sees the field.

In another perfect world Fitz starts this year and Petty takes over in 2016/2017 and becomes the franchise QB.

In a nightmare, Geno starts and shits the bed, Fitz is hurt so he can't back up and Petty gets thrown onto the field in his rookie year and gets annihilated, ruining his confidence.

It will obviously be somewhere in between.

If Geno stays GeNO that will change over night. He better be on the ball as this coaching staff is not tied to him. JMO

Yup--he sees the next Brett Favre.

    Great pick.

Well, and more to the point, everybody back there in the "war room" was saying Brett to the point where he just said it like second nature.

Just stop. This is a Jets forum. We don't need to be subjected to your nonsensical drivel.
