Hey why not? I really liked him coming out of Vandy. Another Rams RB who had a good rookie season followed by a sophomore slump and ended up on the Jets
Well Powell's the closest thing to a speed guy. Ridley's not really a power guy per se, he just runs between the tackles, there's a difference between running inside and being a power guy. Curtis Martin was an inside runner but never a power guy.
every running back is as valaubale as the #224 pick. its the most irrelevant position in the sport and this is how you fill it. load up on available bodies. investing anythign more is idiotic. glad mac didnt do something dumb like draftg gurley or gordon high
That's what I call value. Stacy proved two years ago he can be a number 1 back. Just needs a chance. More proof this regime is not high on Ivory. At least as our main runner.
I don't get why they wouldn't like Ivory tbh, he got 800+ yards on less than 200 carries each of his two seasons as a Jet surrounded by dogs*it on offense. Last year he nearly had 1000 total yards despite splitting time with Powell and CJ0K If anything I think it's just more or less competition for Ridley, who we don't know how good he'll be coming off a major injury, plus he's got 'the fumbling issue' lol
The fact that he wasn't even open to competing in camp tells you everything. Guy asked for a trade 5 seconds after they took Gurley.
I love this and think Stacy is a great back. When given the chance he ran defenses over. I'm more than thrilled and our rbs are super super super deep Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Brian Costello @BrianCoz 6m6 minutes ago The pick the Jets traded for Stacy was acquired in the Bradon Marshall trade. So they turned a 5th-round pick into Marshall and Stacy. #nyj lol Mikey Mac beasting it up
Catches the ball out of the backfield too. Had a decent total yards number. Had 7 td's yr.1 Adds Depth
I don't blame him for wanting out he's shown he's a talented back is young and has no business being buried on the depth chart in stl. He's the new Chris ivory but younger and less injury prone. I'm exciting to see us power run this year we've got a strong stable of backs folks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
When the 4th quarter comes and defenses are gassed were gonna have a fresh power back hittin em Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He was good two years ago, but had a down year last year. If he regains his rookie year form, it will be a steal of a trade.
Yea, Ivory or Ridley. I can honestly see Stacy being cut. He's a lumbering back that doesn't gain yards after contact. Im open to giving him a shot but he looked horrendous last year.
He was put in a horrible situation when he was given the load and the situation was better he excelled Rams just made a mistake I promise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah I would hope they know Ridley shouldn't be counted on to be healthy. And like you said the ball security issues.
Same can be said for ivory plus he's a free agent next year. All the more reason Stacy makes great sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
