In the 5th you take a guy with most potential. If it's a work ethic issue that's on our staff to get him going. Bowles seems like a guy who will. I'm all for this type of pick.

I feel like the ratio of players that have that said about them panning out to flaming out is not that good.

I'd way prefer a guy with talent who needs a kick in the ass over a guy who goes hard and has fundamental issues all day long

I'm chill with this, would have like to see a S maybe but cool with this. This has to spell the end of Brian Winters, right?

Sounds like he has some potential, let's just hope Bowles and Co. help him realize that potential. Nothing wrong with taking a guy like this in the 5th round.

    +1

Pro Football Now has him rated as the 2nd best guard prospect, with a round 2-3 grade! :)
Sure it's only one source, but still...

probably my favorite draft choice so far, although the bust potential is obvious...really, really crowded at G now...maybe we'll have some great competititon and go into the year with 2 quality starters at G, or maybe they'll all look like back-ups to below average starters. we see

I wouldn't make that assumption even if he does move to C he will have to beat out Dalton Freeman which might not be so easy.

We will see some great competition at G now. Never quite believed the mantra previously the last several years, but believe it now.

The kid's gonna face the fire now

It would really be nice to see somebody emerge over Colon or Carpenter
