The Inquisition is so often understood. The Church did nothing wrong with that, in fact the Church used the Inquisition to help combat the corruption of the time. "One of the most enduring myths of the Inquisition is that it was a tool of oppression imposed on unwilling Europeans by a power-hungry Church. Nothing could be more wrong. In truth, the Inquisition brought order, justice, and compassion to combat rampant secular and popular persecutions of heretics. Or all the ancestors of the inhabitants of Central and South America who woke up one day, looked at a list of religions, and decided for themselves "I wanna be a Catholic!"
I say throw him out there day 1...We know Geno stinks. Fitz is what he is a career backup. If Petty blows then we draft Cook or Cardale next year
Well, you just insulted the faith of billions of people worldwide, including countless smart, intelligent individuals. So let me ask you one question....can you support your atheistic viewpoint with any tangible evidence? I've never met an atheist that could, so don't feel bad if you have nothing to support your belief that there is no God. For starters, the default state of the universe is an empty vacuum, a void....so why should there be something rather than nothing? Why does anything exist? Did it just "magically" pop into existence with no supernatural creator behind it? And don't ask me where God came from either, because there's a difference between a natural explanation and a supernatural one. My point is that there's no natural way, in other words no way in a purely physical universe, for anything to have come into existence out of nothing in the first place. The only possible explanation is a supernatural one, for the simple reason that in science, nothing comes from nothing. Matter and energy are never created or destroyed, they only change form.
His attack was re your opinion about draft pick, there was no need to get religion into the conversation.
Dude, just stop. Also, for future reference, you'd probably get more people to click on links if they aren't from a Catholic website. I estimate the percentage of that link being unbiased at about 0.1%.
Dude, I called him Jesus Freak. Period. It's a freaking derogatory nickname, I didn't start on the Crusades for crissakes. _
On topic... Great pick, great value. Petty has talent to turn out VERY good. I like the philosophy the most: get a QB until one pans out.
I've tried 3 times to bring it back on topic. Why don't you start a new Rollover Money thread but this time get it right. Btw, your posts are really really hurtful. Lulz _
You're the only one who gives a shit about trying to hurt a stranger's feelings on the Internet. Just shut up and stop responding to the guy. It's not hard.
He looks the part. Great arm talent. Needs some seasoning. I think he's going to surprise. Can't wait till the 4th preseason game. _
