Thank you, I appreciate that. He seemed to be getting a little better, but today he relapsed. .... but hey, none of us is perfect, I'll continue to acknowledge his posts and try my best to be respectful to him. I'm not too good at that though; my personality is such that when I'm personally attacked, I tend to retaliate. I need to work on turning the other cheek.
The only reason I'm fine with this pick over beefing up the offense of line is the fact that the best offensive linemen available are either murder suspects or injured. I don't know that I would have taken any other offensive linemen other than those two that early.
he should definitely sit and watch for a year before he gets a chance to compete for the job. nice value though.
I don't get the need for guard. Tackle sure but guard.... James Carpenter Oday Aboushi Willie Colon(UGH) W. Johnson Brian Winters(UGH) Brian Dozier 6 guards for 2 spots......Carpenter with his deal probably has RG locked up but between 5 guys, you tell one of these mid rounders to grab the god damn spot by the horns.
Petty should and will likely sit in 2015, however, he should be a part of the QB Training Camp Battle Mix. Geno and Fitz aren't exactly Manning and Brady. If Petty surprises and outplays them: I would have no problem starting him. Of course, that is unlikely.
We still need starters and depth for the future, particularly because there is not one guard on our roster who I truly trust to be the long-term solution. It doesn't help that our tackle situation is getting worse and worse each year due to aging, and at some point we'll need a Mangold replacement as well. Drafting the best OLine prospect available isn't a bad idea, though I like every pick we've had so far even though we didn't choose to go in that direction.
What a blatant LIE, you attacked me first bro! It's all here for anyone to see. .... if you don't like my posts, then either ignore them or reply in a respectful way. But please stop these personal attacks, I have NEVER picked a fight with you on here, I just retaliate when you attack me. I should turn the other cheek and ignore you, but I find it hard to do that, I will admit that's a personal weakness of mine. So please don't bait me into these stupid fights!
Has there ever been an institution in the history of the world that never did anything wrong? All institutions are made up of fallible human beings, so the possibility of corruption from time to time is always there. But the theological teachings of the Catholic Church never change, because they are based on real events that were witnessed by many people, and supported by countless other events (revelations, heroic acts of martyrdom, etc) and personal testimony. Some people find it hard to believe some of the more amazing events of Church history, but they are historical facts nonetheless. Countless theologians, including many extremely intelligent and wise individuals, have supported Church history and teachings over the centuries.
And we're still getting the aftermath from the Crusades a thousand years later in terms of retribution and anger simmering all those years. People are getting their heads cut off in 2015. You can thank the Catholic Church for that, too.
You know lying and casting false witness is a sin, right? This was your very first response to me. Unprovoked. Feel free to bite me. _
