Nothing much...swapped 4th and gave them a 7th we got from Texans. Moving up one spot secured Petty to us and no one else who might have been asking to trade for the spot with Jax.
Hearing that the Cowboys and Bengals had offers on the table with the Jags for their 4th and were set to draft Petty ahead of the Jets...
I like Petty, he throws a beautiful deep ball, just wish he didn't get happy feet so much under pressure
i dont see how that matters. geno isnt the clear cut awnser. and in many peoples minds is NOT the awnser.
Whoa, I absolutely did not say he was ever going to start for us. I said that this was indicative that they view Fitzpatrick as a bridge, for what I'm not sure. They're obviously going to try to develop Petty behind him, but this pick to me just means they don't believe in Geno. There was too much OL talent here to waste a pick on another QB if they liked who they have.
agreed. keep throwing more hats into the mix until someone either steps up or we have a chance to add a clear franchise guy. just rolling out guys like sanchez or geno and praying they go from bad to great isnt a recipe for success.
