having a shitty quarterback, a shitty oline, or not having a pass rush is how you end up 4-12 lacking a runningback will never make you an awful team. you can always piece together a run game. and even if you cant its the easiest thing to overcome. especially with the rules today the short passing can can so easily suppliment a run game. what team with a good defense or good qb or good pass rush eneded up 4-12 because of no running back? i can name several that did because of a bad qb or oline

Need a combo of both. Good tape + athleticism. Find guys that have both and draft them. You're bringing up the exceptions not the norm. I never said combine numbers are everything. Trae Waynes had an awesome combine and I hate him. Suggs tape was a top ten pick. Bowman had really good agility scores. I hope Mauldin can be a our Burfict. the guy is plenty athletic, plenty quick. closes on the QB. he can get to the passer. you dont need 40 speed as a defensive end or pass rushing linebacker, quarterbacks arent lining up 40 yards behind center. he is better then harold as well, we didnt pass on anyone, we took the best pass rusher available
more concerned about his 3 cone. Wish it was closer to 7. It's 7.47... eh. I thought it was 7.84 for some reason.
