Hundley actually impressed me in the Gruden QB camp...wouldn't mind a shot on him in the 4th or later
who cares what his 40 time was? if he has to run 40 yards then something what horribly wrong. as long as he can close the 6-8 yards between himself and the QB that is all that matters. Gholston had great combine numbers, how did that turn out. this isnt a decathalon, its foobtall and this kid can get to the passer and win his 1 on 1s.
I'd take Carden and that Tebow-esque throwing motion before I'd take Hundley. And yes, Hardy is the truth.
Just because you haven't heard of him doesn't make him a bad pick. He is nothing but fire, he plays with an extremely high motor, even more so than Richardson and he plays hard. There is not quit in this kid, he is versatile, he has a great get off the LOS, very strong and uses his hands well. He was really productive in college and was a natural playmaker, he made every team pay attention to him, he was that disruptive. His back story is important because it speaks to what kind of football player your getting, this guy doesn't know how to fail, he has overcomed a ton of obstacles in his life and I think that mindset will make him a great pro player for us. I think he is a starter just because I don't think he will let this coaching staff view him any other way. Its a very solid pick. The things I don't like about him is his bend, it's not great. He testes bad at the combine because he's not a great athlete, he's just a great football player. Which is what you really want anyway. He needs some coach me up but I think he turns out to be a great pick.
you dont take running backs on day 1 or 2. position is too irrelevant. if a kicker is BPA you dont take him in the first round either. we can sign undrafted free agents at running back
