So I guess I better brace myself for them passing on him 4 more times. This always seems to happen every year, there's a player I'm screaming for them to draft and they keep passing on him while I keep pulling out my hair!
He was in the show Path to the Draftvon espn...I liked the guy. He seemed very humble and seems to have a good head on his shoulders. He's gonna work out.
alright, contribute on ST's, learn from Decker and marshall, make the occasional splash play, catch a few deep balls from Geno (lets face it fitzpatrick isn't throwing deep much if he starts) and we'll see where this goes. Like this better than Hill, at least he knows how to catch.
I don't see him as a Maclin type at all. I see him as a DeSean Jackson. He's going to take the top off the defense and he can get down field and make the catches. But he can also play out of the slot and do some damage after the catch. Basically, he's an absolutely perfect fit.
He was a 1st round bust for years, then last year he has one good season in Chip Kelly's pinball offense. This year he goes back to being a bust with the Chiefs, mark my words.
