Exactly. Fans want a need filled , team fills a need , and its still a problem. lol.

The idea of a deep threat like Smith with defenders worrying about Marshall and Decker is exciting.

i think his value is on the outside in 2 and 3 wr sets. espcially working off play action. i think we will see alot of him there. he is going to rotate in at the X and Y spots a ton

It IS a good pick. This is Macagnan starting to display that scouting acumen.

All true, but that doesn't mean he won't become a star in the NFL. A lot of teams passed on Warren Sapp and Randy Moss for similar reasons.

His off the field stuff seems pretty minor to me compared to guys like DGB and even Shane Ray, both of whom were drafted already. I don't get the hesitation to draft Gregory, especially in round 2.

Much rather have had Harold, Fisher, Clemmings, even DGB. Not overly thrilled with the rawness with Smith but if he can turn into the 2nd coming of DeSean Jackson then it'll be all good. Almost hoping to hear the Jets trade back up into the 2nd somehow using Coples as bait and grab Harold

I like the pick. Sounds he's a stud gunner on ST too. That's a huge bonus. A deep threat that's also a solid ST player. I like it.

i dont think its the off field stuff. all i heard yestarday BEFORE the draft was how this guy is gonna slip because of his weight loss and psych evaluation. if it was just weed hed be drafted by now. we will have several more chances to draft him. there are people saying he wont be drafted at all. someone uncovered something on this kid

FWIW Lindy's said this about him in their pre-draft issue:

"A poor man's version of Odell Beckham..." I'll take that lol!

I'm starting to warm up to this pick a little bit, the more I read about him.

he's the type of dude who will have only a 2 or 3 catches a game, but for 75 80 yards.

I've seen more Dasean Jackson comparisons than anyone else. Obviously that is best case scenario but this guy gets to learn from Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker. I like the pick.

Now that you put it that way:

Joseph's hard, ever-rigorous monument to manhood in full congress with the wet, turgid flesh of Mary's nether crevice:

    …..the late, great J.C.!

What's good is that he can just do what he does best as a situational player in year one and develop a more well rounded game. Won't be forced into action too early with Decker, Marshall and Kerley ahead of him

id take JUST williams over white and gregory. williams is a much better player.

We will have 4 or 5 more shots to draft gregory.

Not to mention that that HOF expectation is a huge leap of faith.
