I'm sure. We are picking solid, productive players in college. Good quality picks. Idzik liked picking projects or injury ridden players. Its already a win.
I will read a book-- thank you for reminding me. Glad you are backing up the pick. I'll be sure to call you out if he sucks.
Can't not like this pick when you look how it makes sense to the team. It's a perfect fit for the offense, Kerley the possession WR, two red zone threats in Marshall and Decker, a deep threat in Smith and toss Amaro in that mix for kicks. Hopefully Geno/Fitz can make it work!
I don't watch college football at all and don't know about Smith but ESPN folks seemed to love him. Surprised to see negative comments here. We really needed a downfield threat and if Smith has good hands he might take top of the defenses. Sounds good to me actually.
I can make a pretty good argument for him being BPA, he was considered a 1-2 round pick and a lot of mocks had him going in the 15-25 range. It's pretty clear the Jets are looking for character guys.
I like the pick I was just knocking yesterday's pick in a reply to someone who didn't like this pick.
I'm an OSU fan, I'm not hard to point out. I am not biased either, if I think they will be bad I have no shame in saying so. I hated the Gholston pick way before we picked him. Smith is a good solid pick for us.
More like the opposite. He has highlight reel catches but nothing else. He's just a fast guy to send deep. He's good at that. There were more complete and dominating players available.
you've not said one thing positive since the draft began. If we took DGB you would say hes a cancer and it was a wasted pick
well the jets have gotten the only A tonight so at least one board loves him. 37 Devin Smith | WR, Ohio StateHeight: 6-0 Weight: 196They needed a speed receiver to stretch the field and this kid can fly. He is not a one-trick pony either. A http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/drafttracker
Gregory is a moron. He may be very talented but I can't, with a str8 face, blame a team for passing on him. Every week is a new red flag
