Seriously?? You don't want to draft an elite WR like White in the first but you want to give up a good, solid NFL player in Harrison and a valuable 4th rounder that this team needs for a highly questionable, unproven QB?? Hell No. I saw the kid last year and nothing about him looked impressive. If he gets cut, I'd take a flier on him but never give up that much for him.
Snacks ain't gonna be on this team much longer. At most he has 1 more yr w/ this team. What are the chances the Jets resign Snacks? Slim to none IMO. Better off getting value while you can. People want to trade Wilk, but not Snacks? Fuck that.
just going by the rumor, if the Titans don't want to trade Mettenberger, then well shit this topic is useless.
Per Roto: The Nashville Tennessean reports the Titans have no plans to trade Zach Mettenberger following Thursday's selection of Marcus Mariota. Reports surfaced Thursday that Mett's agent wants a trade. Reporter Jim Wyatt believes Mett has "no choice but to calm down and compete." Mett flashed a little promise as a rookie, but the 2014 sixth-rounder isn't exactly a commodity. He should spend 2015 holding Mariota's clipboard Granted, doesn't mean an offer that is good won't change their minds...But really, what is worth giving up for Mettenberger to change their minds.
Make it happen Mickey, make it happen. And I have the perfect guys to trade for him--2 of the guys we took to pass on Mett--Jeremiah George and Jalen Saunders _
depends on how the Jets feel. I think Mettenberger has a really nice arm, a little slow in the pocket, but if we can improve the line - Mettenberger could be decent. Can make all of the throws. IDK, I feel Snacks is completely expendable. Go 4-3 and just end the BS already.
We will play plenty of 4 man fronts, don't get caught up in 3-4 vs 4-3. I would be fine acquiring Mettenberger but return has to justify. To me Snacks is too much for a guy like Mett. Didn't he grade out top 3 last year?
