I know this may not be popular but if Randy Gregory is available in round 2 i say we def. take him. He would literally fill our last need on D and replace Pace at OLB, imagine this D just for a second...

wilk - williams - richardson (snacks filling in)
    Colples - Davis - Harris - Gregory
cromartie - Pryor - Gilchrist - Revis other Cbs: Skrine, millner, McDougle and Walls

    WOWOWOWOWOWOW

If the pick is NOT Gregory I would 100% go best 0-lineman than in round 2 and RB or OL again in round 3.

If DBG is on the clock - he has to be the BPA ... I won't worry about his off the field issues in the past as he has Marshall and Decker to lean on.

I agree that Gregory should be the pick if he is there. He could have been a top 10 pick in this draft. If there are real issues there scaring teams off then we will pass and take OL/WR/RB. I would prefer OL as it is a far bigger need than WR. We have a couple young WRs and Marshall, Kerley and Decker are a great corps.

As long as we're loading up to build a superior defense, it's hard to argue with that pick.

I completely agree.... I take Gregory if hes there and def. go O-line if he's not....we have decent WRS for next year and weapons, not great but serviceable for another year.

O-line is extremely weak and should be the area we upgrade without question over WR in round 2.

He might also be the WPA--Worst Person Available. I think they steer clear of him.

If we pick Gregory the defense would just be unfair. I would be more excited when the D is on the field than when the offense is, we probably have a better chance of scoring..

I'm fine with taking Gregory as I think it would push over defense over the line to the best as long as we trade up for a good remaining receiver

Maybe our awesome defense can just go iron man and play offense too? As long as we're completing ignoring the one facet of our team that has sucked for the last 20 years it's worth a shot.

We haven't heard anything negative about him in a while. If the potential and return value outweighs the risk, Mac will draft him. This appears to be his way of thinking. I am fine with Gregory if it comes down to it also.

But if Randy Gregory is sitting there when we are on the clock I want the jets to pick him.

If we can leave round 1 and 2 with Leonard Williams and Randy Gregory oh my goodness did we ever just take our defense to the next level. It would truthfully be downright scary. And we'd enter potential all world territory.

If not get me Devin Smith or DGB.

    That is all.

Sad part is I've been more excited when the D is on the field for years. Marshall swayed that a little till LW pick.

I think hes still to risky to take a shot on early in 2nd round, to many good players still available....with that said he falls to the third I wouldn't hesitate. Would also consider moving up if he is there in the late 2nd as well. But with the 5th pick in round 2, it's still to early to take a chance on him IMO. He will still be available in the late 2nd round IMO.

Even in 2013 when we gave up 70 yard passes on a regular basis and 2014 when there was a methodical 80 yard drive in every game? I dreaded it.

Im not totally against it but Gregory is scaring me even in the second, but he's an ELITE talent and this opportunity doesn't come too often with a guy of his talents. This is really interesting they took BPA in the 1st and if the board has Eric Kendricks or Randy Gregory i think the better pick would be those guys compared to DGB, J.Strong and D.Smith.

I suppose it's primarily because I had to hold my breath every time Geno dropped back.

I'm REALLY torn...DBG would be the solid lock here....if off the field issues weren't such a glaring reality! <sigh> Maybe one of the few above us will take him and end the confusion. I don't know.
