So in your head--"upgrades" are "critical holes". What is the BIGGEST hole on this team that is standing between us being a perennial championship contender? THE most critical HOLE? Not another WR. Not a pass rusher. Not an ILB. Not an Olineman. Not a CB. Not a safety. Not a RB. Not a TE. Not a punter, kicker or return man. Not depth. Certainly not a defensive lineman. Do the math if your head can figure it out. _
You take your QB and give me one guy at each of those other positions and my team will stomp yours into the ground. There is no QB in this draft other than Winston that will help this team improve in a big way.
Ooooohhhh nice logic there. So you want to play 22 on 1? And yeah, Mariota would make us contenders for a decade plus. I get that you hate the guy, that's ok. _
And BTW, your 22 man team team may stomp my 1 man team but your team isn't going to be a perennial contender without a top flight QB. Good luck with your plan to draft depth. _
Its OK Stokes. Hasty wants us to be losers for another decade. 10 years from now it will be the same anti QB rant
the most critical hole is QB. im not sure how anyone can deny that. We have a bottom 5-10 starting QB going into the season. QB is the most important posiiton. our most critical needs is QB. i wouldnt say its our only one though. i think OL and Pass rusher are as well. I cant see a scenario were fergeson is back next year. and if we draft mariotta we need to address LT as well
We absolutely have mini-holes. We are by no means a complete team. But I don't think there is a glaring hole on this team (like over the past few years with WR or the decades long drought at pass rusher) other thatn QB. Sure, could we upgrade an OLine position? A pass rusher would be great but with the rebuilt secondary and Bowles scheme--it's not that critical. A stud ILB would be great. All nice to haves--no need to haves. Other than QB. _
i see gaurd as a need, not a mini hole. and i think tackle is a major need (factoring in brick not being here). i think it would be irresponsible not to address tackle in the first 3 rounds
Around The NFL @AroundTheNFL 3m3 minutes ago Teams think Titans plan to take Marcus Mariota instead of trading the No. 2 pick http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000489113/article/teams-think-titans-plan-to-take-marcus-mariota?campaign=Twitter_atn…
Yes but Brick is here now. It's not a hole now. And we definitely need an upgrade at guard, but with a competent FO, you upgrade that later I'm the draft. Or FA. Or UDFA. _
Yes keep playing checkers while the other teams play 3-D chess. Drafting with only this year in mind is a sure path to failure.
Wow. Marcus Mariota is the ultimate plan for the future of this franchise. That's 4-D Call of Duty. Yeah, let's draft for depth. That's playing solitaire with real cards. _
If you have the ESPN app on your phone it was an alert, I'm sure it will hit twitter or their site soon.
Yeah that's dumb and makes no sense. What team informs the media that they are planning to make a trade of any kind let alone one to move up and potentially get a QB? Either it's complete BS fabricated by ESPN or it's coming from the Titans to try and fuel some trade interest from other teams.
