We're definitely due some good "luck." I believe that "luck" is actually a result of making good decisions and moves earlier. Everything we do in life has consequences and sets things in motion in a certain direction. Call it "karma" or whatever. I think that getting rid of Rex and Idzik, hiring Mac and Bowles, and the moves Mac has made has finally set us on the right course and will result in some good "karma" or "luck" for us.
I don't think that anyone is saying that it's "easy" to tank. That doesn't mean that it can't be done, however. I would have sworn that Painter and a bunch of backups started and played that whole game, but guess my memory is faulty.
It might be funny and entertaining watching with both teams trying to give the game away, and the other refusing to take it. At least it would bring some comic relief to an otherwise wretched season.
Look at it this way...we're guaranteed to get one of Winston, MM, Cooper, White, Fowler or Williams and they're all gonna be great. We just have to hope the new FO has a brain
Thats a shame considering everyone has us taking Bud Dupree or Gurley. Personally I would be very happy walking away with any of the players you mentioned though. If the one sitting there for us to take though is White or Williams I would at least like them to listen to offers rather then rush up and make the pick though
We have teams calling for wilk if williams is there take him trade wilk considering williams could be better then wilk and cheaper Williams and sheldon would be just as beastly as wilk and sheldon Onto of what we can get for wilk
I'm just throwing the scenario out there I'd rather take cooper or white if one is on the board I don't see us taking oline at 6 but who knows
I am just glad Shane Ray and Randy Gregory messed up before the draft to eliminate 2 potential defensive picks in the first round for us.
You love to take cheap shots for purely rhetorical purposes. You know quite well that Miami as a team was in turmoil, turmoil that no one player could turn around. The suggestion that individual players might decide to underperform is a different situation.
