Fckn Idiots... If it were up to me, I'd pull every white cop off the line, replace them with every black cop on the force, then green light them to do what they need to do to restore order.

I'm so fckn done with this faux protests. Its just a cover for looting and rioting. I'm very disappointed with the Family of the victim for staying silent thru the mayhem. Its almost like they condone it. Responsible Black people have the same problem that responsible Muslims have.

As far as I'm concerned, anything that happens to these "protesters", they asked for it. I hope they get it in spades. (no pun intended).

Dusk till Dawn curfew? Sounds like a plan until these "protesters" understand they don't get to riot and steal at will under cover of protesting.

Cman, I might be wrong but my understanding was that Freddie Gray's folks asked people to cool it.

Just saw on CNN a Baltimore firemen (who was a black guy fwiw) hooking up a hose to a hydrant to help fight that CVS store torch job. The guy swings the wrench round-and-round and gets the water going but lo and behold, within 30 seconds some tool in disguise wearing what looks like a gas mask comes along with a knife and slashes the hose, runs away, then reappears to spring an additional leak in the hose. Unfrigginreal.

They really messed up by setting up and allowing them to stage a protest. They almost asked for that.. Not really but you know what I mean. That was poor judgement from leadership as these people are animals

    On a lighter note
did anyone catch what looked like a mom beating on her teenage kid who was wearing a ski mask?

Yeah, I saw that too. Now if they just let that store burn out, they will complain about the BFD not doing enough to save the store. They don't understand that CVS now has the option of replacing the store or just abandoning it. All the older residents of that area now have to travel to get their subscriptions filled. You think those ignorant "N's" understand that? Hell no and could care less. I saw them looting stores in a predictable progression. First CVS, then the check cashing joint, then the liquor stores, then the Mall. Whatta shock! I wudda nevah saw that comin.

If this keeps up, I'm gonna start my own ethnic group. This is just fckn pathetic and as a Black Man, I am really, REALLY pissed that these morons decided to act out and riot under the guise of moral outrage. Fck 'em.

So the bloods, crips, and BGF all joined forces to target the cops?

It's a shame too man, because there was a lot of "GOOD" protesting in Baltimore earlier last week (that wasn't televised by CNN or anyone btw) people would talk about issues PEACEFULLY, people wanted answers ... all w/out violence.

All of that work went right down the drain when violence came into play. People went to Baltimore strictly to FUCK shit up and ruin ANY progress for the people fighting the good fight - now everyone wants to associate African Americans as being thugs and terrorists. Perception is reality, and it's truly a shame, I understand people want answers, but violence isn't the way to go about it. Terrorists come in all shape, sizes and colors. These violent protesters that want to cause chaos just to do it, these cops killing innocent people (killing more unarmed Americans on tape than ISIS) - these are the terrorists in this country.

We aren't getting any closer to a resolution - only farther away. Every reaction has an equal and opposite reaction

Yes, it is very sad. We can sit around all day talking about injustice, poverty, the police being above the law. But the reality is rioting and destruction of urban neighborhoods will cut against the interests of those who the rioters claim to be representing. Of course it's not just their own short term "interests" as they perceive them that are behind personal decisions to do that sort of thing, but it is mostly what is involved. Not any clear understanding of what will actually improve things.

I know too many people, and ftr not even only white people, who will see that and put aside whatever concerns they may have had about police misconduct. Instead they will say "See? Told ya." It's a real shame.

I don't think it matters. He was an American and had the right to a fair trial. no cop is judge and jury. That's not to say he didn't get out of line and cause the cops to have to violently restrain him (i dont beleive those details are available) but the mere fact that he had a record seems irrelevant outside of a character discussion.

I don't think these rioters give a rats ass about the dead either.

Didn't deserve to have his spinal cord snapped no matter what his rap sheet says. That's just reaching for justification. This is supposed to be the USA, not East Germany. The BPD should not stoop to the level of the STAZI or Allende's Death Squads.

I'm not saying he deserved to die because he had a rap sheet and I am not trying to justify what happened because none of us were there and none of us actually know ! The color of his skin is meaningless to me as he could have been orange ,white or green and It would not effect my thought process,,,What I am stating for a fact is that this was not an upstanding citizen,,,this was a piece of shit !

What we do know is that it is very difficult to snap your spinal cord while in police custody without some help. Kinda like shooting yourself in the back 5 times while jogging away from the gun. No matter what his rap sheet is, he had the constitutional right to a fair and speedy trial, not a summary execution by death squad. His rap sheet doesn't matter. Neither does the content of his character. What does matter is that he died a violent death while in the custody of the BPD.

Really? You think there is even a reason to ask who deserves to be killed, here or anywhere? His rap sheet is totally irrelevant. The only question regarding the guy that needs to be answered is how his spine was broken.
