You should have been to the SU-ND game at MetLife this past season.

Like a bunch of Boston Irishman at a pub at 3 am.

Eh, select few. They're in every fan base. Go to Notre Dame Stadium and it's a different atmosphere. You have to go to home games to get a real flavor of a fan base. That's why philly sucks. All their fans do. And honestly, we're assholes too. Jet fans can be embarrassing. But bad seeds in every group.

Oh don't get me wrong. There are assholes in every single fan base.

I've been to South Bend when SU played a home and home with them a few years ago. It was great-fantastic atmosphere on a great college campus (I still can't believe Smarjda didn't play in the NFL). The off campus "bar" was a tad weak :D but all in all I had a fantastic time.

My point was, it only takes one asshole.

So me showing my colors at an enemy site is 99.4% safe and not a problem. The benefit to showing my colors and that 0.6% chance of me getting swept up into something through no fault of my own isn't worth it.

Btw, most of the ND fans at the MetLife game were great. It was those few a-holes that stuck out.

The Penn State fans were MUCH worse.

What a garbage game last night... Luckily it was my girls birthday so I was pretty drunk and don't remember much of what I watched. Hopefully Harvey can shut em down today and we can take the rubber game tomorrow night.

I hope we rattle that fat man CC. I can't believe he's considered an athlete....

And can someone tell Pineda to put his cap straight forward on his head?

    What is he 13?

What bar did you go to? Wait they all suck. They're all dirt cheap at least. Or at least they used to be.

It was almost a tent or a shack or something. South of the stadium, at the back end of a huge muddy parking lot.

It might have been a real structure but it felt like I could have knocked it down with minimal effort. Partially covered?

    The 2008 game.

Stayed in Chicago and had a blast.

Nope, it was earlier than 2008. Samardzjia (?) was still there.

Loved the church, put my wife's name in the sign in book for prayers.

Oh yeah they put up, or used to put up, like a big tent from the alumni association I think. Only stopped by once before a game.

It was rainy a few days before and the unpaved parking lot was a quagmire.

Btw, no better announcers than Keith and Ron.

The discussion they just had about how Keith used to play in the hole and how that effected Howard Johnson and Ray Knight and how Ron and the other pitchers used to work with Keith in spring training on it was fascinating.

Mets?…..Schaefer? I always thought of the Mets as:

My beer is Rheingold the dry beer, think of Rheingold whenever you buy beer
It's not bitter, not sweet, it's the extra dry treat—Won't you try extra dry Rheingold beer?"

    Lol. I remember that

I don't know, did the Mets not have Shaefer as a sponsor? For some reason I always thought Shaefer went with the Metsies. I remember Shaefer sucked tho. Lol

Yeah, great listen with our crew. Keith was a real leader on that team too.

I would watch, and listen, to more Yankee games but those two clowns Kay and Sterling make it tough.

1000% Rheingold. My Dad had a buddy in the distribution business and every year we'd get a pull off schedule calendar that we'd pull off every day. [IMG]
