Just watched a few more episodes. Winston Fisk just decapitated the Russian brother with the door of an Escalade. Wow. _
I just watched that one and just like you, "Wow!" was my reaction too. Then set up DD by dropping a fake black mask. Nice touch! The show is beginning to grow on me. E05 hopefully will just continue the thread. Too bad I don't have netflix so it takes time as all the files I have access to are 1080p's and are quite large. 3Gb or larger.
I watched the entire first Season now. Avoided the thread so nothing would get spoiled. Not much to spoil though. Good show, not great. I enjoyed it. I'll watch Season 2.
Watched E6-8 last night. It was ok. The storyline is taking a bit to develop and at times, the show does seem repetitive. D'Orfino makes a great Fisk but his character really has no character. I like my villains to be just a bit more flamboyant. JMHO.
This is a pretty good show but dang I am sick of Foggy Nelson, him and the blond girl have too many scenes in this show and it makes it drag And yea Fisk is getting kind of boring, also I didn't see why they would have made such a big deal about him giving that press conference, they spent the whole season beating us over the head with how nobody knows who he is or what his name is and now the whole city is supposed to be enthralled by him "coming out of the shadows" and blaming DD, why would anyone care, they don't know who he is
I wonder if D'Onofrio is that way in real life. That's his character in everything I've ever seen him do. _
Yep.. I remember trying to watch "criminal intent" as I was a huge L&O fan. His character just sucked the life out of that show for me so I cut it loose. They really do need to spice up his character though. Wilson Fisk needs a makeover..
He's just so weird and awkward and stilted. I can take it a bit on Criminal Intent (I rarely watch it), but it's literally the same character as a crime lord. _
Every time he would wake up from his daddy nightmares I would shout PRIVATE PYLE because he had that oblivious baby expression from FMJ
Just finished and liked it a lot. I don't watch Agents of Shield and haven't watched every marvel thing ever but it ranks up there pretty high. I do agree with Charlie Kelly that Foggy and Karen (is that her name?) have too many scenes and it dragged out. I think Vincent D'Onofrio was great and Charlie Cox was great but everyone else was kinda "meh" IMO. But I liked that it was dark, I liked the action sequences and I liked that it made me enjoy a comic book character I previously had zero interest in. I'm not going to go order the backlog of every DD comic ever made but I wouldn't disregard him entirely either. Will watch Season 2 for sure.
Wow just watched the last episode--outstanding. The FBI raid with the Italian operetta in the background was very well done. Really liked it and I'll look forward to next season. Less Foggy. Maybe Karen shows a little boob. Surprised at how many quasi-main characters got killed off. _
