There is NOTHING to deflect. We cheated. We got caught. We got punished. We move forward.

    We're done. Over. Finito.

I absolutely read the report. It's surpirising how much weight you give it, it's a childish report.

    UNC absolutely cheated.

UNC is going to get sanctioned, the basketball program will be directly implicated, players on Roy's teams will be ruled ineligible and those championships are going to be forfeited.

I have nothing left to "deflect" about.

    Not anymore.

    You absolutely do.

what are the childish aspects of the report? where is the basketball team implicated?

if they didn't take away SUs lone title why would they take away the titles at Carolina? keep dreaming.

Because no player implicated in the SU investigation was on that 2003 team. None of the wins forfeited were from 2003.

Players on each of Roy's teams will be implicated including his championship years. If they are forced to forfeit one game from any of those seasons, those championships will be voided.

We're done. Over. The banner stays forever.

    Yours, not so much.

I'll go into the childish aspects of the report and the BB implications at a later date, heading out for a dinner.

This investigation is going to shred that report.

what players will be implicated? what is your source for this?

SU was cheating during the 2003 season and they didn't take down the banner, they will never take down a championship banner. FF banners they will remove, never a championship especially in this case when the program did nothing wrong.

    enjoy your dinner.

They absolutely will make them take down the banners, it's happened before in the NCAA and it'll happen to UNC.

SU was not penalized for the 2003 season. No players that year were ineligible. No wins were forfeited for that season. No money given back.

Had it been determined, like it will be with UNC, that SU used ineligible players in 2003, they would have forfeited wins and the championship and the banner. But there never were ineligible players in 2003 so no forfeiture of games, the championship or the banner.

When the NCAA does it's thorough investigation (unlike the Wainstein Whitewash) they will determine exactly which players were ineligible in each of Roy's championship seasons, will take away wins and will forfeit their championships.

It's happened before. It will happen again.

    when has it happened?

SU was spared for the 2003 season but they cheated b/c they always cheated.

Carolina did not cheat, SU did and while being investigated for previous cheating they were still cheating. this was a decade after being caught and punished for cheating. they have always cheated, Carolina has not. I look forward to when this mess is over and look forward to all the whining from those that hate UNC when little to no punishment comes of this.

Keep sticking your head in the sand.

Do you know who doesn't have a National Championship banner anymore? Do you know there is officially no NCAA Division 1 Football Champion for 2004? Do you know the NCAA stripped USC of their championship title?

You can keep repeating that UNC didn't cheat but only delusional alumni or non-matriculated super fans believe that. Everyone else knows and no one outside of Chapel Hill is buying the Wainstein Whitewash.

Oh yeah. Roy knowingly used ineligible players during his championship years and he is going to have wins forfeited, championships forfeited and banners taken down.

It's just a matter of time.

And you keep deflecting to Syracuae (who were cleared of using ineligible players in their championship season) but Syracuse is irrelevant to what UNC did.

We cheated. Got caught. Were punished. And it's over. Banner stays up for all time. In the record books we're the 2003 NCAA Bsaketball Champion. For all time.

UNC cheated, WILL get caught, WILL get punished and WILL forfeit championships. For all time.

Keep deflecting, it's not going to impact the future of my program or UNCs program.

foolish me I thought we were talking about basketball and what does what USC did in football have to do w/ what Carolina is accused of and what SU did?

your arguments have gotten so weak lately, all you do is keep repeating crap in hopes someone will believe you.

we'll see what happens, you will be upset when you find out the truth.

USC like UNC cheated by using ineligible players. They got their championship stripped and banner taken down just like UNC will.

It's happened in other NCAA sports as well. NCAA championships have been stripped when teams have been found to have used ineligible players.

What USC and UNC did is the exact same infraction.

And it will be the exact same penalty.

These aren't my arguments and they are hardly weak.

This is just me giving you a dose of reality.

It's going to suck going through an investigation for you.

It's funny that you are now deflecting to the "repeating" tactic as you are the master at it.

Dude you needed to troll post some drivel about Syracuse that no one cares about anymore and in the very tweet stream you posted the head of the NCAA mentioned UNCs cheating scandal.

I had no intention of discussing UNCs historically massive systemic cheating.

You asked for it and you got it.

Again, understand. We cheated, got caught, got punished and are moving on. No loss of tourneys going forward, loss of scholarships inconsequential, I couldn't give a crap about fines my school has so much in its coffers and Boeheim gives the NCAA the finger.

So keep bringing it up. It's done. Over. Irrelevant. It's in our rear view mirror and we look forward.

I'll keep bringing up UNCs massive cheating scandal and we can do this again.

It's a lot more fun for me now that I know the extent of our minimal punishment and we can just surmise how bad the punishment is going to be for UNC.

    I don't care about Syracuse.

So why post the tweet about Syracuse?

To troll. And you got it.

Man I can't wait till the season starts. I'll post excerpts from the Wainstein Whitewash everyday. It'll be great.

please stop w/ the troll; stuff when that is all you are.

the tweet was more about the Carolina situation not being as bad as SU, I don't care about Syracuse. I can't wait until the NCAA nonsense is behind the program and I look forward to people whining about how they got off.

I can't wait for the season to start too, should be #1 entering the season and have a great shot to win the 3rd title of the Roy Williams era.

so you are going to read the Wainstein report? good.

Unlike you, not only did I read the Wainstein Whitewash, I read ALL the tweets and the NCAA head didn't say what Syracuse did was worse, or THAT UNCs cheating was as bad or better or any such qualification.

    He said it was different.

Not better. Not worse. Different than UNCs cheating and he was not really familiar with their scandal.

    Yet.

He will be and when he does them banner be coming DOWN.
