Mixed thoughts on that one. While I'd like to see Glass taking Crosby off the ice for a nice 7-minute stretch (each 2 for roughing, 5 for fighting), I'm not crazy about the Rangers--even with their speed--playing 4-on-4 with them. Interesting stat through 3 games: Derick Bressard: 2 goals, +2 rating, 6 shots on goal, 62% on faceoffs Sydney Crosby:: 1 goal, + 1 rating, 6 shots on goal, 57% on faceoffs Penguin (related) look-a-likes: Trina Crosby - Litterbug The Donald - King of the Comb-over
yes, what? did he hit the post or something? ; ) a playmaker with a knack for important goals (not to mention he plays pretty tough for a relatively average size player), you CANNOT seriously be criticizing this guy
Why shouldn't I criticize the guy who is responsible for the New York Rangers equivalent of the butt fumble?
It seems like AV might've split up the Kreids-Step-Miller line to put JT with Hayes and Hagelin. That means St. Louis is probably back to the Kreids and Step line.
You know, I have plenty respect for Kevin Klein. He is a solid NHL professional Hockey Player. But the way my fellow Rangers Fans have gone on and on and on about the guy being out for the playoffs, you would think he was the second coming of Chris Chelios or something. In addition: This team has allowed an average of 2.33 goals per game this series, which is not exactly a number that cried out for additional defensive support. Don't get me wrong, I wan't him back to, as he certainly is an upgrade over Boyle or Hundwick. But for crying out loud, unless you are all expecting Klein to quarterback the Power Play from the point, what exact impact are you expecting to see when he returns ? This team's biggest deficiency is scoring. Is Klein going to help there?
Wow...Felt like the Pens owned the boards, were in the Zone all night but D worked hard... oan, anyone catch how butthurt the announcers were after we won it? holy crap..
Yeah, should have noted it was the NBCSn feed...fukin sad.. I wish I could have caught Sam Rosen... My fav PBP guy in Sports Period. Wischusen is right there too..
sluggish effort but we got the win and we looked better as the game progressed. Peppering Fleury near the net raises our chances to score. I am happy for Hayes
