I agree that Gholston was even worse than DeWayne Robertson, but look at all the draft picks the Jets flushed down the toilet to get him! Then, of course, there is Kyle Wilson. At lease Gholston didn't finger-wag when the opposing linesman slipped on a banana peel.
Gholston. His lone highlight in his sad career was a preseason roughing the passer against arguably one of the most tormented QBs to ever play (David Carr).
Good god, that wasn't even CLOSE! Did you hear the sound when they clashed helmets? Its like we was coming in parallel to the ground!
The Giants used their 12th man (air) to block Gholston, and Gholston finally won one. I hope they let him keep the ball from that play, or at least the penalty flag.

Round 1, Pick 18: Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville - Struggled some as a rookie and didn't make the type of impact the Jets were hoping for. Played out of position as his game is not best suited to play deep safety, so maybe a switch down the line would help him. Had 60 tackles and two passes defended on the season. Grade: C Round 2, Pick 17: Jace Amaro, TE, Texas Tech - Was probably the Jets' top rookie this season in a field of limited choices. Had 38 catches for 345 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games. Was named to Sports Illustrated's and Mel Kiper's all-rookie teams.Grade: B- Round 3, Pick 16: Dexter McDougle, CB, Maryland - Missed the season after tearing his ACL in August. Grade: Incomplete Round 4, Pick 4: Jalen Saunders, WR, Oklahoma - Returned punts early in the season but was cut by the Jets in September after four games. Finished the season with the New Orleans Saints, which was the fourth team he spent time with in his rookie season. Had a 99-yard kickoff return for the Saints in December. For the Jets though, he was a wasted pick. Grade: F Round 4, Pick 15: Shaq Evans, WR, UCLA - Missed the season after undergoing shoulder surgery in August. Grade: Incomplete Round 4, Pick 37: Dakota Dozier, OL, Furman - Did not play in any games as a rookie. Developmental season as he shifted from tackle to guard. Grade: Incomplete Round 5, Pick 14: Jeremiah George, LB, Iowa State - Was let go at the end of the preseason then signed to the practice squad. Was signed off the practice squad by the Jacksonville Jaguars in September. Played in six games and had six tackles with Jacksonville. Grade: F for the Jets, maybe otherwise for Jacksonville. Round 6, Pick 19: Brandon Dixon, CB, Northwest Missouri State - Cut by the Jets at the end of the preseason. Joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he played in 14 games and had nine tackles and one interception. Grade: F for the Jets, maybe otherwise for Tampa Bay. Round 6, Pick 33: Quincy Enunwa, WR, Nebraska - Spent most of the season on the practice squad. Was promoted to the active roster for the final game of the season. Dealt with legal issues during the season as he was accused of domestic violence in September. The charge was dismissed in October. Grade: D. Round 6, Pick 34: IK Enemkpali, DE, Louisiana Tech - Was inactive for much of the season, playing in only six games and registering three tackles. Started to see more time towards the end of the season and showed some potential.Grade: C-. Round 6, Pick 37: Tajh Boyd, QB, Clemson - Cut by the Jets at the end of training camp. Joined the Boston Brawlers of the Fall Experimental Football League. Grade: F. Round 7, Pick 29: Trevor Reilly, LB, Utah - Played in 14 games, registering 15 tackles on the season. Grade: C.
The one time you could be absolutely correct about Kyle Wilson you pick the wrong year on worst drafts. 2010 might as well not have happened 2014 had a number of misses but it could yield 3-4 starters and a few more contributors
Vlad Ducasse, Joe McKnight and John Connor. The Jets could have traded all of those picks to move up and select Suh and had a better draft with just one player
