Keep it up...... and make sure to stop at Hardees before the game. Youll be in the bathroom for the third when the Isles score the winning goal
I'll take it! I would say more likely a 1 goal game with the Isles pulling it out. Caps just haven't played great. I hope they turn it on like you think though.
I think the isles need to figuratively punch their way to another victory, if the caps come out hitting, then the isles need to start going old school and forget playing the puck and start crushing anyone who comes across the middle or behind the net. The Rangers have been physically punishing Cindy to the point that even Pierre is frustrated because Cindy does not have room to do anything.
Wilson needs to be taught a lesson Thursday night. He's a thug and needs to be treated like one. This is why enforcers are still needed in the NHL. If you still had enforcers out there you wouldn't have pussies like Wilson out there head hunting and getting away with it scott free, an enforcer would fuck him up big time and keep him from doing it again. But I guess they want to get rid of fighting in the NHL and this is what they get, hits, but cheap shots too and no one left to enforce those cheap shots.
Here's the difference in the series,,,,,,,if the Islanders would out a body in front of Holtby this series would be 3 one or better right now,,,,,no one is in front of the Caps goalie he gets good looks at most shots,,,,Ward and the caps when on the ice immediately stand in front and on top of our goalie,,,Halak did not have a good look at either goal last night,,,,what a shame because its hockey 101 especially if a goalie is playing well,,,put a body or 2 right in front of him,,,,,,its best of 3 now Thursday nite is huge! Ps last notes crowd was sooooooooo loud shame they could not pull it out,,,,,,I'm still puking over clutter bucks short handed crossbar,,,,,,on to game 5
What's with the Long Island "barn" reference? "The Barn" – Windsor Arena, Windsor, Ontario; as Border Cities Arena, the former home of the Detroit Cougars (1926–1927); in reference to its appearance HOCKEY In Ontario, the Barn Faces Its End as a Home for Hockey By JEFF Z. KLEINFEB. 15, 2012
This has been a tough series to watch. Maybe just because my team is involved, but I don't think so. Just tough hockey. It is making me wonder are these teams actually playing better than other series or worse? It is hard to tell. The Caps regained home ice with Backstrom's OT goal. It is a best of 3 now. Caps need to come out hard for Game 5. Through 4 games, you could argue the Isles have played better for the majority of the series.
Good teams always find a way to win, and the Isles always find a way to lose. 22 fucking years with no playoff series wins. 22
Funny watching as a somewhat objective neutral party (Ranger fan, take it for what it is) I thought something similar last night while watching the game. I couldn't tell if the teams were playing better than other teams in the playoffs or worse...........maybe because the teams are really even with neither having a significant edge over the other. I think the Isles have played better overall, but the Caps seem more dangerous when they do have surges.
