I'll admit I'll have to watch Waters stuff more in depth. However, I wish Waters didn't play in that weird Kansas St offense so he could show off his skills better. His throwing motion reminds me of Rivers because of all the weird angled throws he makes. He's pretty short though, so most of those throws from 3/4 aren't going to cut it in the pocket (in the NFL). He's also coming off shoulder surgery on his throwing arm I think. Probably a UDFA. Taylor Kelly's arm always underwhelmed me, but he could probably be had as a UDFA. I though he was pretty average in college, but I didn't even watch tape on him.
Pretty good analysis in your last couple posts, nice to read. Waters could make a case as the best thrower in this class imo and he's got pretty good feet, Im not that concerned about the height but I am concerned about the shoulder surgery. if it checked out fine I'd draft him late. Kelly I actually like his arm, his release is really nice to watch, it's so quick. He had accuracy problems though.
