That would be such a joke about the culture of sports media, paying a source to break the schedule an hour or two before the NFL announced it just to get website hits. There's no real value in announcing the schedule early except to make a quick buck which is what sports media is really about
take this with whatever size unit of sodium chloride you want.. and don't kill the messenger because I don't have a f'ing clue if its right but there's a leaked list of the Patriots fixtures floating around: has PIT not us in the season opener. it does have us playing them in NE week 17 which would make sense. The other one is a 1PM Sun Nov 1st game at Metlife which would be nice
I hope that's true. Week 17 at new England sounds good to me, especially if they have clinched already.
A bunch of Pats fans I saw have discredited this. Gillette stadium is hosting the winter classic NHL game so the Pats have to be on the road the last 2 weeks, which they aren't in this schedule.
Espn.com is reporting Bears at Packers thanksgiving night, making the pats schedule a fake as it had pats at denver that night.
No more home Jets on Thanksgiving ; I'd like my turkey at my mother's house , not in the parking lot .
Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter 3m3 minutes ago Sure sounds like Steelers at Patriots in Thursday night regular-season opener. Full NFL schedule release tonight at 8 on ESPN.
This almost guarantees a Bills-Jets showdown week 1. Question is, will the game be played in Buffalo or New York. My money is on Buffalo.
it doesn't make sense to play it in Buffalo but we have opened at home 5 straight years. I would think they'd want Rex at the meadowlands week 1 in the 7PM Mon Night timeslot.
I think Giants would get the Week 1 home game and I don't think they pop up back to back times on MNF so the Jets will be on the road. Maybe Niners@Giants 4PM FOX. I think it will be thrown to the wolves in Indy though. I think the Jets@Bills matchup should be a MNF game, I think Buffalo will get a MNF game and that one would have juice since Buffalo's TNF should be at home vs the Pats. All guessing though.
http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2015/04/jets_2015_schedule_opener.html LOL get Manziel and the Browns week 1, what? Why do we always open at home and why do we never get the Pats week 17? Get Rex's Bills in Buffalo last week Another "must win in week 1" ugh. I was hoping to be the underdog week 1 and to not have the pressure. I thought the Browns would be the home opener but in week 2.
I am surprised we'd get a home game and it not be Buffalo. I guess they are making up all the years of starting on the road.
I'm surprised the game at Buffalo is so late and the final week. Makes me wonder if Bills@Jets is a week 10 MNF game or not. They usually like to clamp divisional games (somewhat) close so we would not get the Bills at home in September/October. Well hopefully Buster Skrine gets a pick six off Manziel.
I love Cleveland in week 1. They finished the season 1-6 and have since lost their QB, Jordan Cameron and Josh Gordon. Even if they trade up for Mariota, Jets will either face Manzel, Mariota or McCown with their new secondary. Cant complain about this if true.
Love the Browns week 1, start off on the right foot with a winnable home game. Though said the same thing about the raiders week 1 this year (but c'mon the stretch right after it was brutal)
