Its long overdue for a Jets vs Pats clash the final week, has yet to happen since the division teams have faced off in the final week. NFL hoping for a meaningful game there. Bills I think will get rewarded a MNF game and it will be vs the Jets for many reasons. Would make sense to go to Oakland coming off the BYE and then play MNF for the extra day off but who knows if that happens. Might be more wishful thinking.
Here's what I'm hoping for: Vs Bills (MNF) Vs Redskins At Giants At Miami (London ) Bye Vs Cleveland At Colts At Oakland Vs Jacksonville At Buffalo Vs New England Vs Eagles Vs Titans At Dallas At Houston Vs Miami At New England
week 17 is determined by flex scheduling so if it is primetime it will mean we are playing for a div title most likely so I'll take it.
Can we not play Miami at the end of every season anymore?Every time we do we have a horrible year.Id like the Miami games to be done with by week 10
I think our Week 1 matchup is the Bills here (much the way the NFL sent Tampa to the Meadowlands after Revis left), and our Week 17 matchup is at New England. They gotta switch it up this year from the NE-Buffalo and NYJ-Miami they've had the last couple years. And we'll most likely have a brutal opening few weeks the way we have the last few years
The NFL didn't send Tampa to us. Revis was traded away 3 days after the schedule was released that season. They got lucky. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't think we play the Bills week 1 because 1 of us is going to be in Foxboro. We make for the 2 best match ups.
I'll go with the Peter King reasoning and say they'll go for the best QB/best team going into Foxboro which is Pittsburgh. They don't want to risk the opener blowing up into a one-sided game, which it could with the Jets/Bills QB's.
The Patriots always crap on the Steelers and Bell is suspended which kills them. The last couple Jets Pats games have been waaaay closer than the last few Steelers Pats.
They've only played them once in the last three years, which yes was a butt-kicking. Ben's 2-5 against Brady I think http://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/pittsburgh-steelers/teamvsteam?opp=19 I mean would it SHOCK me to see them make it Pats-Jets with the Revis angle? No, but it's either gonna be Pats-Steelers or Pats-Jets. They won't bring Rex up there to get slaughtered Week 1.
I thought because of the Jewish holiday that weekend both the Jets and Giants asked the NFL not to schedule any night games week 1 at Metlife and the league agreed. If the Jets or Giants open at home it will be 1:00.
they changed Thanksgiving rules so AFC teams are not required to play but if we do hopefully it's better than our last trip to Dallas on Thanksgiving.
I presume the leaks will start shortly and we will have the schedule well before the official announcement?
