Love this show, and it has Rosario Dawson!!!! Glad to see a marvel TV show that is more than TV-PG. Lots of action!!!
Loved loved loved it! Can't stress enough how much I loved it! With all that violence a little surprised there was no sex scenes. D'Onofrio should win an Emmy for his performance. He left me feeling conflicted. Like you know he's a monster but there was a part of me that found him sympathetic. His love for Vanessa and her love for him was the sweetest thing to me. I like the wave of emotions I went with him. sympathetic -->sociopath -->sympathetic --> sociopath--> sympathetic -->sociopath Lather, rinse, repeat. The great thing about netflix series is that you get the complete season. That's also the bad thing about netflix. I have no self control to pace myself. I watched it all and now I'm left with nothing, but a long wait until season 2.
I heard about this and my first thought was "meh, Daredevil isn't that exciting and I don't know if I trust Netflix to make a good action series" and then I saw the trailer. It looked awesome! Haven't watched any yet but glad to hear people are saying good things about it.
Damn this show is fucking amazing guys...I saw 7 episodes straight on Friday before tiring out. Just finished 8th episode. This is Marvel's entry into dark and gritty. It is very Batman Begins and Arrow esque but the characters of Wilson Fisk (kingpin) and Matt Murdock (Daredevil) are really fascinating. Excellent acting too
Marvel has 4 other shows following suit to Daredevil on netflix Jessica Jones Luke Cage Iron Fist Defenders (combines the the above superheroes, including daredevil in like a TV Avengers) http://screenrant.com/marvel-netflix-deal-tv-shows-daredevil-luke-cage-iron-fist-jessica-jones/
Yo this show is one of the most goriest shows, I've seen in sometime. Freaking awesome show though. I'm on Episode 6, will prob watch the remaining episodes today and tomorrow.
I actually think this show was a bit overrated. Its not bad by any stretch, I actually really enjoyed it. But I think that once the MCU sticker gets put on it, it automatically gets a bit overrated. I likened it to what Arrow would be, if it wasnt stuck on CW. Slightly better than season 3 Arrow. I dont think its as good as Flash.
Seriously, never seen anything like it before. When that Fisk did that shit to the Russian? The guy putting his head through that huge nail? Fisk is bad-ass as hell though. I am assuming this will be the competitor for CW's DC Universe.
Looking forward to watching this. My wife has no interest and it got a little too violent to watch with my son who was loving it, so I'll be late nighting it on the weekends.
Ok. thanks to certain assets, I was able to obtain Episodes 1-3 and watch at 1080p. Not bad but I do have a few concerns... Why is that DD is getting racked up so often? He's usually bloody, bruised and bleeding at the end of the first three episodes. Next, how is it that DD can do all these spectacular moves and his pulldown mask never comes off? You'd think it would have slipped or something by now. Lastly, does he ever get his redsuit or does he just keep on with the sweatshirt and mask? I'll be getting the next several episodes so hopefully, I'll get some answers.
Easily the best thing Marvel has produced. The only thing that comes close is Cap 2. I don't think they could have casted Matt Murdock any better. Charlie Cox nailed every aspect of the character.
Where's his DD uni? Can't do better than a sweatshirt and a ski mask? Really? Hell, he must be the poorest Superhero ever. Maybe this is the new 21st century superhero. Uniforms not required. Kinda like Superman in a Duluth Trading Co. flannel shirt and pants.
