Senators now control their own destiny. Win or OT/SO loss Saturday at Philly and they clinch a playoff berth.

Bruins have to win at Tampa on Saturday and have Senators lose in regulation at Philly to get into playoffs.

you know what? i dont give a flying flank steak who the rangers play in the first, 2nd or 3rd rounds, because they if they play
like they did this year, no matter who is in goal, they have the goods to go far. nail biting time? haaa haaa!!
bring on whomever, this ranger team is very very good. and deep i might add.

I think better and deeper than last year with an infusion of young guys Hayes, Fast, Miller...6 NHL caliber dmen, addition by subtraction John Moore

every round is going to be a bloodbath regardless of who you draw, the dropoff in talent from best to worst in this league is so slight, if there is a drop at all.

Because he missed 6 Weeks, and he needs more minutes to regain his timing.

I disagree, he has his timing back he played 5 very good games in a row, why risk injury now playing behind the fuckin' B team in a meaningless game

So happy the Kings are not in. A lot will depend on the Pens/Isles game tonight but with the Pens playing Buffalo Saturday and Boston playing Tampa my money is on playing Ottawa first round and then Washington 2nd.

Might want to be a little careful with the hubris there.

Lol. The if collapsing Islanders or the collapsing pens get by the Caps first round I'll go ahead and predict the ECF game too.

Good Luck against the Pens although I know you wont need it. I would be shocked if the Pens win a game to be honest. For my team I hope we can get by the Caps and have a Rangers-Islanders series. Win or lose the Rangers and Islanders play some exciting games. Would love to have another playoff series between them as its been a long time now since they had one.

This series could get ugly. All you need know: The Rangers beat a good Caps team trying to secure home ice while resting players yesterday. The Penguins barely beat the worst team in hockey yesterday in a must win.

They always scare me a little bit. Granted I haven't seen them play all that much this year, but still.
