You see Champ, I try to ignore you, but every now and then you hook me with this sort of crap. It's childish. It's immature. 'Waah! We didn't win the Super Bowl, so everything we did this year was worthless!' Every life ends in death, which you would have to view as something of a failure, yet life is full of good and worthwhile stuff. I don't expect you to understand. I struggle to see how someone of your age could actually be that immature about the realities of life, while claiming to be the only realist in town. If I didn't know better I'd suspect you were just trolling.
Some day & I hope rather quickly you learn the old sports adage "if U R not a winner then U R a loser. Pls repeat that adage at least 50 times a day & then somewhere in the future U & I will be on the same page. Now to your accusation of I do not see the "good things" in the NYJs. When U are losers from Jan 13 1969 till now there is NOTHING good that occurs & I wonder why U do not know that. Hopefully U heard the sports saying "If you are not a winner then U R a loser". To my way of thinking there is zero good about losing. I can think of not one good thing that occurs when U lose. If U can think of any please post them using the saying I posted as your guideline. Thanks for the kind offer, but I don't want to be in the same library as you, let alone on the same page. Try to understand that there can be good things in a story even if it ends badly and you will be able to get some enjoyment out of life.
