Major argument in my office today. Who makes the better burger between these two: Five Guys or Shake Shack?
Shake Shack is extremely overrated. I actually don't like it much at all. Many other burger chains are better. I like 5 Guys out of the two only because of those cajun fries. The really winner is Bareburger http://www.bareburger.com/
Tony Roma's Burger is actually really really good. Going to Zinburger tomorrow nite before the movies. Have already picked out the Breakfast Burger with a fired egg, smoked applewood bacon, avocado, american cheese, lettuce and mayo. Five Guys is a bit greasy for my taste, gotta go with Shake Shack. _
What about this In-N-Out Burger bullshit? I've never had one but my West Coast friends swear by them. And now they aren't expanding to the East Coast? Sounds like Lender's Bagels threatening to pull out of NJ or Domino's threatening to pull out of Brooklyn. http://www.businessinsider.com/why-in-n-out-burger-wont-expand-east-2015-4 _
Never had shake shack but those 5 guys burgers are fucking delicious. Too bad it's more healthy to eat fish from the Hudson.
Overrated as fuck, went to Cali - it was the first thing I ate. Since you are a food connoisseur, I bet you won't like it. At the end of the day, the answer for me is none - I would rather cook my own beautiful bison burger with Spanish Onion, Avocado and Bacon.
sorry gentlemen, Umami Burger destroys them all. i think you guys even have one back there now in williamsburg http://www.umamiburger.com/
There is nothing special about In and Out burger but their sauce and people just think they are special ordering from the ultra secret menu. There's a chain here called Whataburger that I think is pretty good and even all the Cali transplants I know swear it is better than In and Out, it's all hype I usually don't eat at either one because all of the local burger places make them both look like McDonalds
Man I told you that's a family tradition, always gotta hit the one in Jersey City when I go back to Jersey. My dad and uncles were practically raised on those burgers
