"He evaluated Smith's throwing motion by sticking tiny sensors all over his body and hooking him up to a computer. When he threw a football, it generated data in a three-dimensional representation that detailed every nuance in his delivery. A 1,000-frame-per-second camera allowed House and his team of instructors to break down every phase." Really? All you needed to do was watch film of every bad decision he has ever made on the field to be able to tell what he is.....which is nothing close to a franchise qb
Geno Smith was a 2nd round pick, he should not have seen the field until this year or the end of last year. It was not his fault he was not ready. It was the QB coach, Marty, Rex and Idziot. Geno needed time to be taught, he needed to watch and learn. That did not happen. If he was a first round pick, which he was not. Only then should he been thrust into a starting role and be expected to win. Based on his 2nd round talent, this is the year we should see improvement.
Hating on someone to me means your jealous of them in some way,Hating someone means you just dislike them
Forget this House guy. He doesn't need to learn how to do DDXes or how to take lots of Vicodin. Smith needs to spend some time with Max Payne so he can go "bullet time" when a pass play is called.
If House could speed up his delivery, it should help. His wind up is a bit slow. That and how lethargic he is with putting thought to action leads to a lot of late throws.
Hypothetical question. Which of the following is a more successful pick IYO? -A QB that develops into only a top 15 QB who makes the occasional Pro-Bowl but good enough to have the team in playoff contention every year. -A HOF WR that puts gaudy numbers on a average to bad teams for the next decade.
I never root against any jet player I truly hope he improves Like some have stated, I think he throws a nice ball. Good zip etc. I do think he needs to work on x and o and the mental aspect of breaking down defenses. Not sure that can be learned by him, and how much can be learned, but I do hope he puts a ton of effort towards this aspect of his game. I would be thrilled if he developed into a decent top 15 QB. I'm not asking for joe Montana.
