Glass nailed him good. AV likes Glass and Glass is there for physicality. And he does the job. AV seems to have a great read on when to go that way. I was down on Girardi a little like some other fans. But he has come on now, and has had a bit of surge. Which I'm happy about. Maybe Girardi got tired against the Devils and Kings. You can't have him going into the playoffs cold when he's just had a 25 game layoff, and you can't wrap him in cotton wool. That was actually a really good game to play him in, the Rangers weren't hitting hard and it was clear that neither team wanted to be especially physical. The Sens aren't the kind of team that represent a big risk to a goalie other than something accidental happening.
