great breakdown of Owamagbe's game on below link (Steelers forum, but very good analysis)..

    http://www.behindthesteelcurtain.co...ft-prospect-re-evaluating-owamagbe-odighizuwa

I'm not very high on a lot of the OLB prospects being ear marked for the first round.
one of the reasons is their lack of run game defense. conversely, setting the edge is exactly what Owamgbe brings to the table.
He's ready to contribute to base D right away, and will be the eventual replacement for Calvin Pace, which we sorely need to start planning for.

good value if around in the 2nd.
    thoughts?

Doubt they'll go in that direction right off the bat.Looking for impact players at the top of the draft...Pass Rusher, WR, maybe QB, maybe OL.

If you the get the pass rusher/olb, make Q your edge setter looking down the line. He can do what Bryan Thomas did, maybe better, he's already a better pass rusher. Thomas became a fantastic edge setter after initially being drafted as a pass rusher.

That name is impossible to pronounce, but might be worth it to hear Namath, Klecko, and Buttle butcher it. I'd have to refer to him as Double O, or even Double Stuff.

Oh, and thanks for the breakdown. Kid looks like a player.

Good name. Jaquiski Tartt is the best name in this draft though.

It would be a dream to grab Cooper at 6 and this guy in the second round but I'm not sure he lasts until the 2nd. The hip injuries concern me

I keep thinking coples is the replacement for pace. Maybe I'm off the mark.

If he's there in the 2nd and we don't take a OLB in the 1st I'm all for it!

Do they have to say their name 7 times before blitzing? I hope not.

I don't want anybody whose name is unpronouncable or unspellable...he would become OO on this board which would become ohoh after his first bad game.

Exactly what I was thinking. OO goes "uh-oh" - they'd be throwing beat writers a bone with this one.

That being said, his tape on draft breakdown seems halfway decent.

I'm guessing it starts with O.

He would be a nice target in the 2nd depending upon the choice in the 1st.
