We had some flashes, and the '86 team had a crushing loss in the division game. An all time disappointment.

But Wesley Walker and Al Toon were great. Walker is an all time fav of mine. Epic battles w/Miami. I called WW great. I hope that doesn't create a shit storm with an elite fan or anything, lmao...

Kenny could hit Wesley down field better than anybody 'cept Joe.

I'm so glad, and so relieved, you gave me the okay btw.

he was a beautiful passer, great deep ball. I think this is what confuses most Jet fans, they see the highlights on youtube but unfortunately those moments were few and far btw.

any time, just let me know which guys you think are all time Jets and I will let you know if it is ok to call them that.

    It's a tough call. You're a great one, a legend. So I've been told. But a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

It is so sad to see an alleged fan dump and shit all over one of the best QBs we've ever had in our franchise page after page after page and thread after thread after thread.

Like the guys that used to shit all over Chrebet on Matt's old board or guys that used to dump all over Curtis or Penny. The same type guy.

It's pathetic because they hated the player as a kid or even while an adult and they carry that hate over years or decades later.

And while never particularly logical or rational as a poster, their hatred for the player has made them so much more illogical and irrational they can't even understand what is being discussed and change the narrative to an apparent lack of understanding about the difference between all time franchise greats and all time NFL greats.

And then they get so flustered they abandon their irrational position and deflect to hurling the weakest of childish insults that really are quite harmless but give the taunter some feeling of superiority that doesn't exist.

    It's sad.

    Entertaining, for sure.

i think chrebet is completely overrated by jets fans. just because he is a short slow white guy that most jets fans can identify with or so they feel.

You seem to have a pathological need to tell me what NOT to be...

My advice to you would be to
    Mr. 3rd Down conversion?!

What the hell is up with Jets fans?

I mean, when you can't even like a white player?!!

It's like when I went to a Jets pre-season game at the Meadowlands: It was completely pouring rain and the only fans at the game were Jets fans. And they are fighting each other like the Hatfields and McCoys. I just don't understand...

I love Chrebet, we all do but he is also overrated by Jet fans though he had a much better career than Ken.

I never realized you could exactly compare a WR career to a QB career.

Wayne was a better WR than Ken was a QB. not at his peak but as far as career consistency.

No confusion, I watched him and he was a beautiful passer when healthy. Broken finger on the other hand (pun intended).

I'm not going to edit down your ramblings of a mad man. But I will address the 'quoteing a fan blog' comment, I also watched the games, followed the games knew he had a broken finger. All media sources after the season acknowledged that. It was kept quiet during the season to try to keep advantage, remember this is before the NFL got tough on properly reporting injuries during the season and teams frequently smoke screened more serious injuries.

But I do remember seeing the games and I remember his finger being wrapped and bandaged during the game while he was at QB.

No fan blogging, I was there....so to speak.
