they couldn't stop anyone, did he have to put up 40 PPG? is that fair to expect for any QB let alone a middle of the pack guy like Mark?

Too funny. You're a fraud and a liar and you know nothing about my program other than what you read in the headlines.

Put up or shut up. You can't possibly know more about my school and what we did than I do.

The pathetic thing is, I know more about UNC and what they did than you do because you didn't even go there. You're a sychophant fanboy with zero connection to the school. And they are at the forefront of the largest NCAA cheating scandal in history.

And as to all time great players for franchises, you've proven over and again how truly clueless you are.

    Good defense thought.

But that's not the argument. Philly lost key games that cost them the playoffs so by your logic the elevator of Philly's offense and the O is mostly at fault for that right?

    He posts a reply.

I'm still trying to figure out how players A, B, C, D, E and F are all in the top 1 or 2 or 3 spots in a franchise's history for QB statistical performance yet are abject failures in the playoffs can be considered among the all time franchise greats, but player G who was the exact same player is not an all time great.

    Because he was booed?!?

    Too funny.

And not that "ha ha" type of funny, that pathetic type of funny.

I find it funny that for someone who claims to follow football and to 'watch it' he basis so many of his opinions on speculative mass media reporting.

So was Richard Todd, Pat Ryan, Boomer Esiason, Neil O'Donnell and (as hard as this is to believe) Ray Lucas.

    Are you really sitting there
To tout Dilfer's playoff performance when over 4 games the Ravens in the 2000 playoffs allowed a total of 16 points, 170 yards against per game, created 12 turnovers, and a TD is really pushing the limits of logic. I agree that virtually any QB could have gone along for the ride during that amazing Ravens defense run during the 2000 playoffs. Dilfer gets very little credit in my mind. A QB would have had a monumentally bad game for the Ravens to have lost any of those games.

I think the most hated Jets QB I have ever seen in my 50 years of following this team was Sanchez. It's not even close.

I have swatted away al of your weak arguments including the LIES about broken FINGERS but please send me another link to bleacher report to "prove" your lies.

haha, little stokie so's angry. I know much more than you think which was proven but think what you want to think. I love the little man inferiority complex.

you know nothing about what happened at UNC- NOTHING. you are using what you read in the media which is FALSE. Your school CHEATED over and over and over again- it's why you have that lone NCAA title which should have been stripped.

as for Ken, you are wrong as usual. Nothing new but since you scream it you think you know it.

    Pathetic.

you posted the most insane ramblings about this, you are so clueless it is beyond comical. Ken O'Brien has nothing to do w/ those other QBs on other teams but you deflect b/c, as usual, you have no idea what you are talking about.

no, only bleacher report and fan blogs tell us the truth.

says the guy using a fan blog and bleacher report as his sources.

this is fun, I just wish there was someone to actually challenge me rather than the munchkin and his crew,

why can't people read? I am not touting Dilfer, not saying he was great but he was PERFECT for that team. ONE turnover in 4 games, many big plays. The ONLY way that D was losing was if their O or STs was turning it over at a high rate.

Ravens QBs w/ those great Ds:
    2000 Ravens O: 2 TOs in 4 games(1 from QB), SB champs
2001: 5 in 2 games, lose in div rd
    2003: 2 in WC loss
2006: 4 in div rd loss

notice a pattern? that 2006 D was on par w/ the 2000 D and had a much better QB on paper, that D at home in the div rd didn't allow a TD and yet they still lost- how? 4 TOs, 3 by the QB(though one was when game was over). the 2 big ones were the INTs. the Bal D had picked of Peyton and Bal's O drove inside the Indy 5 and McNair threw an INT. Later after Bal agains picked Peyton McNair gave it right back w/ another INT.

do you understand a little better now?

which is why we have the worst fanbase in sports BUT Ken was also hated(similar to Mark- early success and then the hatred).

you fit in perfectly w/ the munchkin crew.
