Ahhhh I'm not so sure he's a "good" guy, I think he's opportunistic and wanted to protect his interests.

He did show some compassion to Saul but I'm not sure it was out of true complete benevolence. He still hates Saul and he was a prick to Kim when she initially lost the embezzlement clients.

I'm thinking he's about as good as it gets. He took a bullet for Chuck, knowing that Jimmy would hate his guts. Jimmy goes out of his way to be a dickhead to Howard, it is only natural that he'd fire back. Howard respects Chuck so much he takes all that flak from Jimmy and says nothing.

    Chicago sunroof LOL!!

They will need to explain that decision at the end. He had everything laid out in front - money, rub it to Chuck. Give it up for what exactly?

From what I can tell he’s always been Saul Goodman, just went by the name of slipping Jimmy instead. Jimmy is the persona. He was trying Jimmy on for size for chuck sake. The Jimmy façade was only going to last but for so long.

    Sorry, but this is weak.
Here he's got $MM and comphy job in a big-shot law firm, maybe as a partner. This is lifetime supply of whatever booze/drugs he likes and real-life get-out-of-jail card. Jimmy is a smart guy. With this sort of deal he'll have no need for facade; he can be Slipping Jimmy, the attorney at law.

I'm sorry I don't think I understand what you're saying. He can't be slipping Jimmy at a respectable law firm. It's the reason why Chuck didn't want the law firm to hire him in the first place. Chuck sees him as someone who is corruptible. I mean he is a con artist with a law degree. I feel like since the moment Chuck bailed him out and got him a job, Jimmy has been running a con on himself. Thinking he can be a stand up guy. Wanting to make Chuck proud of him. Wanting to be someone worthy of Chuck approval. When he finds out that despite all his efforts Chuck won't give him the validation he craves, he can stop seeking it, and be his true self. A con man who is a morally bankrupt lawyer. He isn't going to break bad because the bad is inherently in him. He was just suppressing it for a little while. IMO

    So many Breaking Bad references

    "B, as in... Belize!"

Other then that, I came away disappointed in the finale ... was kind of anti-climatic.

Yeah, it's definitely a great show. Hopefully season 2 returns in the fall and not in 2016.

I only like 2 TV shows right now, this one and The Flash. TV shows to me have been underwhelming.

Hopefully they have some BB cameos along the way.

Like, maybe Saul gets his car washed at the place Walter worked part time. Or he has Skinny Pete as a client...Hank and Gomie busting someone, or passing Saul in the hall of the courthouse or something...Skylar in line at the grocery store, etc. Gus Fring serves Saul chicken? So many possibilities.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Vince Gilligan pull something like that.

I never got into it all that much ... reminds me too much of Batman. I've heard some decent things about the show, maybe I should give it a chance.

No offence to our resident lawyers, but let's not pretend that this profession is all noble :)

Chuck is a sanctimonous asshole, holier-than-thou hypocrite who NEEDS to be #1 brother. The good one, the righteous one. He believe that Jimmy is still a con artist.. based on what, on history of 10 years ago?

I feel like you don't believe in 2nd chances, in people overcoming their mistakes and making their life better. Making themselves better.
10 years Jimmy was staying clean and on the path. Getting through program, going for the Bar exam 3 times... So from 15 to 25, Jimmy is a con artist. From 25 to 35 he is an upstanding guy working though his demons.
An alcoholic sober for 10 years is still an alcoholic, but you know what pushes his over the edge?
An asshole of a brother who despite walking straight for 10 years, still refuses to give him even a little credit -- that's who!

That would be good. There's a lot references so far, some subtle. VG hopefully plays with that
I would love to see Huell, and that red head dude get in on it.

Jimmy decided to be true to himself in the end. As opposed to Chuck's truth. Classic VG

I'm spoiled now. Other TV shows hardly cut it anymore. The 1st season of Bates Motel was close, for me.
