only nice thing about KY going down, is that on Monday Francesca will be an excuse machine because he's been riding Cal's jock all month.

Fair enough. Last year he lost his Mother, so I really felt bad for him, and it was rough for WI to lose to Kentucky by 1 point. It was quite the redemption this year. Besides the Packers, WI sports teams never do anything. So it's exciting for the people here.

This is Duke's 11th title game. It's the first for WI since 1941. In the NFL that would be like the Steelers vs Lions.

Was Bo Ryan serious or doing standup comedy when he acted like he didn't know who won the first game? They were IN the building for the finish of the game, I don't see how it could have been avoided?

We're not friends anymore if you root for Dook. Their coach is a scumbag.

Sadly I still think this makes the 91 UNLV the best team to not win the national title

I was born in 1993 so this was probably the best team in my lifetime.

One more Wisconsin. of al the duke teams the players on this one are the most likable I have probably ever seen. It's not their fault they are taught to play dirty and cheap BUT I do not want to see that rat smiling tonight. Just give me one win Wisconsin.

Concerning next year's champs Brice Johnson has announced he is coming back so barring anything shocking from Tokoto all the key guys are back for a Jr and Sr laden team that should be one of the favorites- if not THE favorite to win it all next year.

this post is confusing. You start by referring to next year's champs but the players you mention don't play for next years champs

This KY wasn't as good as that UNLV team; and it's not even close.

I never thought this KY team was an all time great team; that UNLV team was. in fact, I don't find them significantly better than last year's undefeated Wichita State team. Sure they have a lot of depth talent, and were able to overwhelm the less talented teams they faced, but it never felt that the team was dominant the way you expect a 38-0 team would be.

That's why I thought Wisconsin could and would beat them -- from just a talent standpoint they have players that could play with KY -- something they hadn't faced all year. I thought Duke would beat them as well. And I don't mind Kentucky at all and would have liked to see 40-0.

Unfortunately I think that's why Duke beats Wisconsin -- they havent had to face a team as skilled offensively as Duke or a player like Okafor.

This UK team was a big time team but not historically great despite the record. the conf was weak which inflated the record. Definitely best team in the Country(best team rarely wins NCAA Tourney) but not an all time great team.

The Rats are abandoning the Jay Wright ship...

    http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/04/02/dylan-ennis-to-transfer-from-villanova/

Villanova announced on Thursday morning that Dylan Ennis will be transferring out of the program.

“Dylan has chosen to play his final season in another program,” Villanova head coach Jay Wright said in a statement. “We’re proud that Dylan will graduate in May with a degree in Communications and appreciate all of his efforts throughout his career here.”

Ennis will be eligible to receive a graduate transfer waiver from the NCAA, meaning that he’ll likely be eligible immediately wherever he decides to finish his college career.

Ennis played two seasons at Villanova after transferring from Rice. This past season he averaged 9.9 points and 3.7 boards for the Wildcats, who won the Big East regular season and tournament titles.
