I LOVE this move. Moore has skills but was stuck in the worst franchise in the league. Coming in as a WR3 with Marshall and Decker getting all the attention is the precise situation he needs to be in. Moore has a MUCH higher ceiling than Kerley who's a great Jet but barely mediocre receiver at best.

I remained so impressed by Big Mac's eye for talent. What an offseason.

The new regime didn't like him. They also kept Andre Holmes on the bench most of the season. And once they gave him some time, he was dominant. They don't have a clue. Moore is a great value for a prove-it deal.

Is this really that much of an upgrade over Salim?

This is what i said in the other thread about him.

It is cool he has speed, but that is kind of irrelevant if he cant get on the field. With marshall/Decker/Kerley/Amaro im not sure where he sees snaps. and when he does come in you can basically assume deep ball.

We need someone like white who can take the top off a defense and is also good enough to be a top 3 WR on depth chart

Sign him to a one year prove it type of deal. He could work out for the Jets as the WR that stretches the field.

Head scratcher. We already have 3 good WRs plus Amaro. We also have 3 good WRs in reserve waiting their turn. I can understand drafting a top guy to play outside for the next 10 years, but to keep looking at plan B type guys when we already have a team full of them....I don't get it.

If they signed him it would probably be about a minimum salary deal and for him to compete for depth. Yes, they have a solid set of 3 WRs and a young, promising TE, but a team needs depth too...

Overrated for what? He's a depth WR with upside.

I'd rather Moore than some of the JAGs the Jets had the last few years for depth: Nelson, Graham, Clyde the Glide Gates etc.

How can someone who has never been hyped up in the NFL be overrated?

Yeah seriously I don't get why people are overreacting to this. They wouldn't sign this guy to be a starter... And they didn't even sign him. Jeez what's the problem?

I hate to break the news to some of you, but with Marshall, Decker, Kerley, and Amaro on the team, the chances of the Jets going WR at #6 are slim to none and with good reason. Its going to be Mariotta or one of the pass rushers.

If they can't get Mariota I would rather they trade down and grab one of the projected 3 first round RBs, something they really need if we have to suffer through another year of Smith but trading down is usually just a pipe dream and nobody will want to trade up if neither of the QBs are still there so it's all moot anyway.
