You said: Oh definitely..... if it wasn't for all the positive press of Saint Tebow, and the team's success, ALOT more would've been exposed.

Implication: Florida's success contributed to a lack of exposure on the trashy players on their team.

My contention: More successful teams receive a higher degree of scrutiny, not less.

Yes, I did read your post.

You seriously are saying Winston was under more scrutiny because of success? He only missed games for the his pussy comment, the local authorities botched the investigation and he is now preparing to be the number 1 draft pick while his alleged victim has been ridiculed. How many other cases do you hear about girls needing to switch schools because they come forward about an athlete assaulting them and the blow back they face? Clarette and USC are the biggest jokes ever. The NCAA comes down hard the second their cash cow gets threatened by somebody else sharing in their profits. Look at Alabama, it took a second assault allegation for the guy to get cut. Big programs sweep shit under the rug constantly. Look how much and for how long the Hurricanes got away with. Hell, how many people covered up for Sandusky for how long? a successful and extremely profitable college program will cover up anything it thinks it can to keep the money flowing.

not to mention his original stupid point about Urban Meyer who is the opposite of scrutinized, he's closer to being worshipped by the media, the NCAA, etc.. despite being a shady deuchebag that has a problem, and that problem is taking on criminals. One of which will hopefully spend his life behind bars now.

oh - and the countless times smaller, less successful programs get FAR worse treatment.

He plays "Rodeo" with his golddigging chippie.

He mounts Ricki's saddle from behind, cries "Myra was much tighter than this!" then tries to hang on for 8 seconds.

Speaking of scumbag Myer looks like it hasn't taken him long to allow lack of control at OSU (which of course would be swept under the rug) as Braxton Miller was seen promoting something called AdvoCare which would be a violation. Of course it's a minor one because it's Ohio State but if it was Fresno State or North Texas it'd be a bowl ban and loss of scholarships. I don't want to derail this thread but Myer's comments were really funny....

    Too much weed?

FALL RIVER, Mass. -- A man who sued Aaron Hernandez over being shot in the face in Florida testified Wednesday in the former New England Patriots player's murder trial that Hernandez thought he was being followed by helicopters and that he was paranoid about his conversations being recorded.

It would explain why he was always in such a rage and quick to end people he thought was after him. I wonder if he had that same mindset on Sundays?

Bradley recalled that Hernandez often felt his friends were using him and were not grateful for what the former Patriots tight end did for them. He recounted for jurors a holiday party at Hernandez's home in December 2012 at which Lloyd offended Hernandez. Lloyd had walked upstairs holding hands with his girlfriend, who is the sister of Hernandez's fiancée, Bradley said. He remembered Hernandez turning to him and commenting that it was rude of Lloyd not to speak to them when they walked by.

"He was asking me, 'did I see how he just walked through without saying hi'," Bradley said.
