Damn the Dartmouth boy to hell! Where Idiotzik failed Mac will make it up or so I hope. 30 days from now on DD we will see if he has a better skill set than JI to pull something off for us. When this happens at least 50 % of this board will be cheering and the rest will take a dagger to the heart no OLB was taken. They will complain ad nauseaum our rookie QB will bust. The difference will be no more SOJs.

i don't see how Fowler drops passed 3-5 now that Gregory will be out of the top 5 possibly. Tennessee is most likely gonna kill your Mariota dreams one way or another (draft or trade Mariota). Hell Realistically, Cooper Mariota & Beasley have a great chance to be gone by 6

Fowler probably will be gone thanks to Mr. Gregory's preference for weed over football. Tennessee could kill my Mariota dreams, but it may all be a ruse to try to entice another team to trade up and no team may be willing to meet Tennessee's price, except maybe the Jets.

Titan fans dont seem to want Mariota, or at least dont think Tennessee is going to take him. Most of their fans see them taking Leonard Williams. Makes sense, as many see him as the best player in the draft, and Mariota doesnt seem to fit what Whisenhunt wants.

Jacksonville I really think is going to take Beasley. While his run support leaves a lot to be desired, Jacksonville (like us) could use an edge pass rusher. His production was fantastic and his combine actually reinforced his production, which many didnt see coming.

Oakland I think is taking a receiver. White or Cooper, not really sure, hopefully White so the Jets have the option to take Cooper. Get a receiver to see if Derek Carr is a legitimate franchise QB.

Washington I have no clue. They could take a QB, an OL, a S. Truly no idea.

I really wouldnt be surprised if Mariota fell to the Jets.

Gregory getting bagged for the ghanja might have really fucked us. One less top prospect option that may fall outside the top 6.

It's like the football gods continue to mess with us.

You can look at it another way, it's one less player for the Jets to consider at #6, since I believe these pass rushers are overvalued.

No I get that, but I'm all in on MM so from my myopic perspective, this only hurts us.

I'm hoping Cooper's and White's and Williams and Fowlers and Beaseleys and Rays private workouts are off the charts

see.. I think THIS is where our disagreement is... like i said im all for drafting Mariota.. Geno's my boy but I'm all for the better option if there is one.. but no way in hell would I trade 2 first and something else for Mariota. That's way too risky

Off Topic: Watching the FSU pro-day Lovie Smith looks like he's trying to mentally suppress a boner as Jameis introduces his team mates.

His chemistry with O'leary is very evident.

Have to wonder if Winston's near disaster of a pro day today might not now make Mariota the number 1 pick.

No, most of his struggles were when he threw on the move. We knew that wasn't a strength coming in. His WRs dropped a ton of passes too; he was clearly frustrated with them.
