Harrison's opinion on the Jets means as much to me as my wife's.

I didn't say Fitz is a good Qb. I just said that he's better than Geno! And that's not saying much.

Yeah and please follow this equation: Fitz is better than Geno who is better than Mark.

If the ref don't call that bullshit offensive pass interference on Hill against the Pats we go up by 10 and the game never goes to OT. The Pats benefitted from a bad call. We also won some games we had no business winning either. It goes both ways and honestly the only game I truly thought we should've won was the first Pats game and the second Bills game. We were a bad/mediocre team that overachieved. Geno struggled but this is a team sport and the other units on the team struggled too.

You say that Sanchez is a good Qb. After an awful career and league low QBRs. Of course there were circumstances (excuses): everyone in the world except Mark. This is a lot dumber than my stupid post.

Harrison's opinion on Geno is pretty much in line with most Jets fans. He's not very good. He probably wont be starting this year, and if he does, that means he has beat out Fitz and whoever else.

Bowles and Macagnan have no allegiance to Geno, and wont play him if he isnt the best option.

The only saving grace in starting Geno is the off chance that he's improved. Again this is not beyond the realm of possibility for a 3rd year Qb. But after 29 starts you would think he has the experience to show more consistency on the field. Jets fans should have higher aspirations than Geno Smith.

Junc, I know that sometimes things happen, and some calls are made.

But you are comparing apples to oranges, those teams have established QBs that have franchise QB credentials.

Russel wilson drove his team down field, in crunch time.

I could live with the occasional call that goes for or against us if we had the body of work that the Giants or Seattle had.

This argument is about a 2nd round scrub QB, that people are still giving the benefit of the doubt to because of a mirage of an 8-8 record, he was also 4-12 last year with a better team last year.

He was being his usually bad self against the pats and was on the sidelines when the penalty was called, he had a chance to do something with the offense and could not do it, but he gets credit for helping the team to get to an 8-8 record?

I'm not buying it Junc, sorry buddy.

please don't confuse what I am saying. I am NOT saying Geno is the answer just refuting what Pat homer Harrison said.

against NE if they don't call back a TD to Hill then OT isn't even needed.

He was 3-10 last year but the same line of thinking about a play here or there could have helped him last year. what if they don't grant us that TO at GB? what if they call the PI on Chi in the EZ? what if we make the FG at NE?

"The Jets are, all of a sudden, on a high thinking they're going to win a championship. You're not going to win a championship, you're not even going to make the playoffs, because you don't have a quarterback. If you go into the season and you're expecting Geno Smith to improve, it's not going to happen."

What??? What a liar this Harrison is...Literally no one thinks that. How many cunty ex patriots are they going to allow on TV

What do these people expect the Jets to do about a QB...they know they dont have a good QB but there's nothing that can be done about it. There's no good free agents and because we had to beat the Steelers and the Dolphins last season we have no chance to draft one

The addition of Marshall is a pretty big addition - the best receiver this team has had since Key, IMO. Plus the fact that he will draw coverage away from Decker, which will allow Eric to work against team's #2 DB's. Amaro should be better with another year under his belt as well.

Ok so Harrison is going to slam the Jets anyway he can. He's a "show me" kind of personality anyways. And there's nothing wrong with that because the Jets haven't shown him anything.

Again if you want to bring Sanchez into the picture if we're going to compare bad Qbs. He wins hands down. Sanchez is the worst.

I did enjoy them beating the Steeler's, that was actually the most watchable game last year.

Look sorry. This is not an anti anti Sanchez board. You don't have to reply or you can if it gets you upset put a block on. Sanchez is fair game and he gave me many more sleepless nights than my posts against him do for you.
