Why? Other than the poor suckers who had to buy PSLs why wouldn't you rather sit in the warmth of your living room and watch the game on your 75" TV? The main reason people go is that if they don't the game will be blacked out.

I think the NFL was getting some heat on this by the FCC. Plus in reality there are a lot of non sell outs. And someone had to buy up tickets (maybe the teams) to get the minimum needed to avoid a black out. I assume the tickets went to resale venues like Stubhub, Ticketcity and maybe were distributed to charities. When you see prices go down on tickets dramatically like we have with the Jets for late season games esp. when we are a non playoff contending team it shows to me a downswing in league popularity. With all of the problems on and off the field some people are just getting tired of the whole fucking thing and would rather do something else on a Sunday afternoon. Not us though, ever,. We're hooked!

that's definitely NOT the main reason people go to games..

besides in today's day & age if you want to see a blacked out game you will see it, there are ways around it lets be real. The NFL & its owners would rather you watch the game on TV so they can make money with advertisements than watch it on some sketchy website even if you aren't at the stadium.

thus offering "blackouts" / blackout threats serves less purpose & only exists to hurt relations with fans in todays era. A better way to get people to come to the games is to offer more for the fans in the way of the game day experience. Make people actually WANT to come rather than hanging onto an outdated threat of a blackout that they will laugh at for it's effectiveness and be angry at for its premise.

keep in mind its the owners themselves that are making this decision. If we know anything about the greedy ass leaders of the NFL, its that they hold the almighty dollar in high regard. If they thought blackouts were an effective way to improve the bottom line financially they definitely wouldn't have changed rules on blackouts a couple years ago and definitely wouldn't have removed them completely this year.

Sure it is. Fans want to see the game. If the team sucks enough fans won't show and that in turn will create a blackout and then nobody sees it. You go because you want to see it.

Well maybe I haven't seen Bills in the playoffs since I moved to USA but I like the city and I like the fans. They are a poor city with fans that are passionate. Dolphins on the other hand are a different story. I don't think I will ever see them fill their stadium unless they are Superbowl favorites. Such fair weather fans. Unbelievable.

Are Bills games routinely blacked out or something? I find that hard to believe, pretty sure that place is a solid sellout.

Great passionate blue collar fan base in a somewhat downtrodden city. Rex is perfect for them and if it's not us taking the Division, I hope it's the Bills.

You're crazy. I love diarrhea, it's my favorite physical affliction.

On the other hand vomiting is my most hated.

You don't know what you're talking about. Vomit is way more accurate and has better technique. Diarrhea is sloppy in the pocket and not nearly as mobile.

But the pre-diarrhea cramping is like fore play. Vomit you're rolling around on the bathroom floor trying to stem the tide, the bile just bubbling up your esophagus.

    Hate it.
