He chokes in big moments, he holds his teams back and i'd sooner sign a guy who's been a TV analyst and out of football for 5 years but don't say i think he sucks.

Totes. Brees only has one ring too. He got lucky. We need a qb to be a really really good team. But im passing on Brees he's not that much separated from fitz or the unknown prospect well draft instead.

I am not saying we should laud any and every Qb candidate not named Geno Smith. But the opposite approach, dissing every possibility, is ridiculous. Face it Smith sucks.

We need a good QB before we can be considered a good football team.

But lets face it - we aren't winning anything with this roster. Why should we acquire a good QB?

I remember how everyone wanted Favre and I said how bad of an idea it was but I was mocked. some folks are just happy w/ fantasy #s while the rest of us just want to actually win.

Yup. Adding Brandon Marshall Revis Cro skrine a left guard and a safety means zilch. 2 games. Max. Plus Bowles has a big head. Why bother? Nobody can relate to a guy w that big of a dome. Players won't play for him. I looked at dome size of coaches 7 years ago and it makes sense.

Favre had that team at 8-3 before he got hurt.

Pennington played 1 more year before his career was virtually over. In the end we lost a third rounder and a missed opportunity.

It wasn't a bad idea to go after Favre with what the Jets did in FA that offseason. And your suppose to judge the decision, not the result. We dont have the luxury of being able to tell the future.

Favre was 8-3 before getting hurt which most of us will take any day compared to the garbage we have been getting the last two years. What's your point?

I've realized that Phillip Rivers won't play for the Jets ever...No chance.

He does not want the Chargers to move to LA, he HATES LOS ANGELES.

Do you think he would enjoy NYC a media center of the world.

cool, let's give up the farm for a guy who couldn't get it done w/ more talent in a weaker division when he was younger. Great logic.

The farm being what? No offer has even been discussed. We had to first wade through your 7 year old stat analysis.

the Jets were 8-3 not Favre, we were 8-3 in spit if his erratic play and we should have been 10-1. we finished 9-7 b/c of Favre and the one game we won down the stretch was b/c the D scored a late TD. Glad you want to miss the playoffs in a weak schedule year w/o Brady to deal with. as long as those fantasy #s are up!

the #6 pick is the farm b/c it would include an extension he doesn't deserve. he'd have to get a $100 mil deal and kill our cap for years but you want fantasy #s so let's do it!

So wait....when it fits your argument it goes on the qb...but when it doesn't you deflect from the qb

    This truly keeps getting better
