Cool Definitely a speedy guy we could use. Though his production heavily dropped last year even though the Raiders needed receivers, so I'm not sure how much he could help.
If this goes through, they doubt Cooper lands at #6 (which OAK might draft). Would be a win/win in which we add another WR + Mariotta/Beasley. In MAC we trust
I still don't know what he does..he had 12 catches for 115 yards and 8 returns for 38 yards last year....
Not so sure this means we wouldn't draft a WR at 6. He has potential but he's not that great. I'd compare him to Ford from last year in the aspect that he will have a chance to compete for a spot on the 53 during camp as a return man/ 4th WR. As much as I want White/Cooper it makes more sense to go OLB or trade down and grab OL/whatever else as mentioned above ^^ however I wouldn't point THIS being the reason to pass on a WR early.
I will say it until they prove me wrong, they will go skill position in round 1 and 2...no fatbodies.
I don't see this move affecting what we do in the draft, Moore is solid but he wasn't even starting in Oakland. If someone like Dorsett is available in the 2nd he should be the pick.
Moore is a perfect fit for what we need. He's not an every down WR, so I doubt that would affect us drafting Cooper or White if they are available. I hope we can lock him up before he leaves the building.
I've always liked Moore, but I felt like he had no one to throw him the ball. He did have a bad season last year, and missed some time. That said, he could be a nice cheap signing. Worst case, he battles it out with the other bottom end guys for a roster spot.
Or Chaz Shillenz (sp?) jesus enough of these raiders cast off wr's. We have Evans and Enunwa as our unkown wr's for the year. Draft White or Cooper and fix the god damn position for the time being.
I wouldn't mind the signing. Crabtree is still out there though and would be a better option even though I'm no fan of his either.
