What on earth on you talking about? Cliton Dix didn't set the world on fire, but he played fine for a rookie. Did you not see the playoff game against the Seahawks? He seemed to have found his stride towards the end of the season and had his best game in the playoffs.
Yeah, forgot about that, but that was a freak play. He played outstanding the entire game up until that point. That would be like getting on Harrison for David Tyree's catch. Fluke play.
I watch a few Packers games throughout the season, he missed several key tackles. You're right, maybe I blew out of proportion the way he played, but I'm pretty sure he sucked.
He missed a bunch of tackles early on in the year, but rebounded quite nicely as the season progressed. Just like Pryor he was moved all over the secondary -- deep centerfield, on the line, over the TE. In fact, every major publication put him on the all-rookie team ahead of Pryor (NFL.com, SI.com, PFF.com, PFWA). Only SI.com had both him and Pryor -- the others had Bucannon.

Strange how people think these players can leave college come to the NFL and be all pro for the rest of their careers. These are people we are talking about. They learn just like you do. People require excellence in others but when you look at their life you can't find it anywhere. Like I said.... strange.

well his contract is built with this in mind at least. 3 mil is all thats guaranteed and he can be cut for savings as soon as next year, 1.5 mil of his 2015 cap hit is based on wether or not he plays each game. Mac and Co. put a lot of outs in his deal it seems. smart management, especially in tandem with the other easy to ditch deals like Cro and Carpenter's.
4 months recovery is kinda serious unless it's precautionary. I'm glad the contract is the way it is. It almost sounds made for an injury that he was recovering from already. It seems last year he did the same thing with the Chargers but played all 16 games. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It was a previous injury that the Jets knew about when they signed him, but in the articles I read it said it wasn't certain when the injury happened.
Purely a guess on my part but with the amount of tackles he makes I'm sure this is to make sure he doesn't do more damage before the season starts.
